No idea where they got their scores, these are mine from the last 2 hours:

3DMarks were 3497 and 3545, i put them as decimals to fit them on better.

Benches done on my MSI Cyclone GTX460 1GB

What's the last chart depicting? From "hardly playable" to "now it runs smooth"?

I'll have to give MoonPig right......I don´t get those "crazy" performance gains ...... there is a small gain.....but not like in the Nvidia charts......
Smells like "marketing"....

acually seems more like it targeted sli, especially being on the heels of the 590 release. For me that's win!

Any Folders try these yet? Results?

.........and thats why I'm an Nvidia fanboy. I guess it's time to start teasing my friends who's crying all the time about how bad his 5970's drivers are.

I sold my 5970 and got a 580

Well try this driver when I get home.

I am going to try this tonight, running one instance each of cpu and (gpu on sli).

Will post here.

EDIT:
Now installed and running.

((***(Was running 266.77 driver)*** installation asked to replace a newer driver? Did it quickly, sorry for lack of detail on this point, answered yes.))

Screen goes black twice during install as if it is seeing each card in sli.

EDIT:
Runs a little hotter: 66c vs 64c.

789 ns/day

good marketing, give some fairly decent but not unusual SLI performance increases in a few games, and then fix the poor performance in dragon age II since launch, and rant about massive performance inmcreases, wooo!

i'm glad nvidia owners can finally play DAII tho, fun game.

I didn't have any problems with the DAII demo. Is the actual game more demanding or something?

nvidia users couldnt really run it on anything but DX9.

I could play dragon age 2 on VERY HIGH with my GTX 460!! YAY :D

Obviously people have different opinions. :rockout:

Never use the supplied drivers the 270.51 drivers gives the support for the 590.

Think you two were missing my (cryptic) point about the supplied drivers with the 590 causing it to literary burn if you OC it.

30 fps-ish. Other than that, DA2 was playable in max settings on launch.

30FPS on a 580 means unplayable for everyone else on those settings, since thats a damned expensive card.
