I've never been much of a gamer, but i've just played my first directx 10 game (cyrsis) and, oh man... the graphics are AWESOME! And i'm just playing it on a HD 4670

The only other games i've played has been Madden and GTA ... I think i'm gonna upgrade my video card tomorrow!! Can someone give a brief list of other directx 10 games?

Thanks ...

CoD4 is a DX9 game. :toast:

World in conflict, Devil May Cry 4, Far Cry 2 are a few DX10 games that come to mind. Far Cry 2, at least in my experience on the NV side gets better performance on DX10 too. There are quite a few DX10 supporting games though, enjoy man!

...nope, that's dx9.

link to list of dx10 games out now and announced, there are a few announced titles missing from that list which are dx10 such as bioshock 2 but the released list looks pretty comprehensive as there aren't that many out atm.

Best 2 dx10 games imo are crysis and crysis warhead, takes a hell of a lot of graphics horsepower to run them at full however, although meduim settings still look nice. assasin's creed is meant to be very nice on pc but i've never seen it on pc.

Really, I've found games still run fastest under dx9, even under win7 and dx11. Don't really see much graphic improvement and always fps decrease. Maybe my monitor is too big hehhe?

So, let me see if I have this stright... The larger the monitor... the slower the game will run?

i'm running a 26" flat screen with a 4670 and I ran crysis on max settings and it was very fast

its all about resolution. my 40" has a lower res than my 24", therefore my 40" runs faster than my 24".

well you don't HAVE to run the games at your monitor's full native resolution. when i didn't have a powerful enough vid card to run COD4 at 1440x900 I was using 1280x720 and it looked just fine. not all resolutions look good and of course native resolution is the best but if you don't have the hardware to do 1080 use the next best lower setting that does work.

You're supposed to enable cloak mode, not run out in the open and look at the birds/fish in the sea.
