NICE!!!!!
I just recieved 2 of them.
And they are nice. 300GB @ 10,000rpm.
But the price is $300 for each, but I got mine for free, but I think it is worth it.

Giant heatsink. They are actually 2.5" drives, which makes their speed and capacity even more impressive to me. WD just puts the ones targeted at desktop use in that heatsink to make them 3.5" drives. You are supposed to be able to get them sans heatsink as well, from what I have heard. Can you imagine one of these in a lappy? :eek:

I work for Best Buy/Geek Squad, and the other day a shipment came in and the box was crushed. Who ever packed the truck, put a box with a Washer Machine in it on top of it. So when I was unloading the truck we opened the box to look what was trashed, and I saw the 5 hard drives boxes of the Raptors I nearly crapped myself when I saw them. Well my manager saw that the boxes that where crushed so he let me and some other guys have them. But I feel sorry for the crushed 30" Acer LCD monitor and the HP Blackbird 002 that kinda saved the HDD.

That's a raptor x their comparing it to. And its only faster in some tests, not all, the raptor is still faster overall. A great drive for the money though.
