it doesnt stack but as damage it scales with player lvl
 
This time around i'm running a scion reave build and good lord is it working well. Just kills an entire pack in about a second. And so far is working well against bosses.
This is a lot of fun!

You just have to keep going back in time multiple times until she discovers where the temple is. Your goal should be to stay within the room you are sent to for as long as you can. There is a timer and when you kill it adds time back to the clock. It is important to understand that your goal is not to just kill everything. There is a monster bar that fills up and TBH it is not the goal though it makes it seem it is. The more full the bar though the more loot will drop when you exit the incursion. Your main goal early on is to kill the mobs and look for a "stone of passage" that drops. this will allow you to unlock a sealed door. Killing one of the two architects (I'll call bosses going forward) is also a goal which will allow you to upgrade the current room you are in to a higher tier or kill the other boss to change the current room to another room all together. Once you kill a boss the second boss de-spawns. Killing monsters and attacking the boss will put time back on the clock.
You should plan your incursion before actually entering. Pick the boss you want to target and get those doors unsealed.

Info: If you fail to unlock some sealed doors then when you eventually reach the temple you will not have access to those rooms in the temple map.

The temple map is different compared to an incursion room. The temple map does not have a count down and you can spend the time needed to clear it. The more rooms you have unlocked the more places you can venture within the temple.

Tip: change one of the incursion rooms to an "explosives room" which when entered you can grab explosives from loot crates. These can then be used in the temple map to blow up sealed doors.

OK. But after the timer runs out it says there are x amount of these left. Does this mean that after I do these that x number of times, I cant do it anymore?
 
you need to perform x times incursion so that she can locate where the temple is. then you speek with her (at her last location where you made your last incursion) and she will open 6 portals to mini map of the temple. killl the mobs, get the loot and when done continue with stroy
 
can I go back and do the same incursions as before?

Also noted that the day it came out, I played it and couldn't believe my eyes that there were already people lvl 40 and higher. In 5 hours since release! I wish I had that much time to waste.

Hehe, just wait to see how it feels when a week after a league goes live, there characters of higher level than you could achieve after playing the game for 2-3 years. Huge part of the reason I had to let PoE go.

Eh, 1 week? I was seeing level 86 pop up the day after release...

I handled that very easily: I don't play the leagues like races. They have races, and I don't play those like races either. I just play them for the fun elements, like the messy one a few months ago, where there were uniques dropping all over the place.

I play the game to have fun, the way I want to play it. Main reason I don't PVP: I don't like it. I prefer co-op, or PVE. If some guy wants to take a pre-made planned out path to rush to the top of the league scoreboard, good for him. I hope he enjoys it. I don't see how, but I guess if you've played long enough, it's all just background noise at that point. I don't like to play that way. Even while grinding for an Oni this past weekend, I enjoyed seeing the Starfish on the beach in the Strand, and trying to beat the surf up the beach :).

I enjoy the game. If I had to try to compare my progress/play style/"achievements" to someone else, it would start to feel too much like work: something I had to do. Who the hell wants to work at a game? That's why I quit WoW: it was feeling too much like a job. Get up, grind dailies, go to work. Come home, grind battlegrounds, more dailies, craft, go to bed... That took away the fun of just flying around Irongforge, or the Swamps... What the hell.... Why torture yourself, ya know?
 
@Ahhzz I made it to clvl90 or 91. Still, without trading, my toons were still squishy and unable to handle any of the more dangerous content.
I had fun for a few years trying stuff, but I gave up when I realized it all turned into an exercise in frustration.

In a way, PoE feels like your experience with WoW, but instead of grinding, you have to invest all that time in trading.

Yes. Once you do the temple run it resets and she provides another 11 incursions before heading to the tower again. It will then reset again after the next tower run with another set of 11 incursions.

I have not seen you either. I am on every day around 8-8:30pm PST and play until 11 or 12. I usually don't play until I get the kids off to bed. I sometimes get on for a bit before dinner for maybe an hour (530pm to 6-6:30pm)

What act are you in? If I see you on we can run some acts together. I'm currently in Act 6 with my L48 Scion.

May have to join that action :) working on a melee toon. Not really dedicated real life interfering atm

Well then, lets get you leveled up. If we run together though due to the level difference I will most likely just blow through all the quests quick like. You'll have to direct me to the quests you need to do.

Oh and I won't pick up any loot while we run. you guys can nab it all. Unless I see a unique...then its a free for all. lol

Good luck with that. But there's a reason even skill labeled as melee have range/AoE.
On a more serious note, I got my rear handed to my by the twin Overlords leading up to Atziri just because with all the things going on the screen I didn't notice one of their ground slams. And that's a phoned in attack. And I was using Cyclone. You're planning to stand still.
For (my) bonus points, I never made it to Atziri. Got past the Overlords, but got stopped cold in my tracks by the trio. I died so fast I didn't even noticed why, much less get a chance to put up any defenses. I found out later it was probably physical degen, a type of damage only Basalt Flasks can mitigate. But that's stuff you only find out on the forums, there's no way of telling just by playing the game, unless you have the means to try again and again an enormous amount of times.

Overlords I handled, but couldn't deal with one of her aspects quickly enough to get her out. Only tried once, I'll try again when I tweak my gear a little :)

those elder/shaper items in stash are for sale. if anyone can match set with them feel free or if you find something useful to gear your toons. i havent ever seen ring/amulet drops from nither of them so i cant finish the set.
sacrifice fragment are also free. trade for vaal orbs or if you have midnight and want to try on atziri use whatever you like
 
Thanks to both of you :) I saw the bank tab last night, and was thinking about it, but had a really crappy day and crashed shortly after 8. Appreciate it!!
I grabbed the foil when I saw it in there, saving it for my duelist, and then when I got to level, it wasn't an upgrade lol. Usually happens like that :laugh:
 
i have 5 stash tabs full with gear for the lowbies and 95% of it will be sold out as it wont be upgrade when l reach required lvl :D
life sucks :laugh:

I saved a lot of gear for upcoming chars and then two things happened:
1. I found out I saved the wrong gear (little did I know if it doesn't give you _a lot_ of life, it's thrash)
2. Due to the grinding involved I only developed the grand total of 4 chars
