Post your Speedtest.net Speeds!

Surprisingly decent ping. I've had ADSL with worse ping.
My ADSL had better ping than that. I regularly had single-digit pings, even before going to FTTH!

Fast enough for me.

American Internet at its best. :/
Nearly 5x better upload speeds than I ever had when I was with Xfinity. I feel your pain, I lived with those awful speeds for a long time. Glad I jumped ship and went with Quantum Fiber.

Not to shabby for T-Mobile 5G home internet.

Ran it again this morning and it's even better:

I been looking at other routing options from GC on my coax connect and so far it looks like might have hit a sweet spot with a good routing to my favorite test server on my Lenovo ThinkCentre M720q Tiny with i5-8500T.

I don't feel these speeds are too shabby on my little tiny server when it use to be around 300Mbps down max.

This is still 1000/60Mbit and later this year if everything goes as plan it's gonna be 1000/500Mbit.

2:30-ish Saint Paul, MN on a dish service called, Sight & Surf. Paying for 50mbps up and down. I think my speeds improve a bit at night? I will redo later and compare.

VPN Chicago.jpg

VPN on to a server in Chicago back to MPLS
VPN off.jpg

Vpn off to MPLS
VPN chicago 2 chicago.jpg

VPN on Chicago to Chicago
VPN off 2 chicago.jpg

VPN off 2 Chicago

So, essentially I lose a tiny bit through my VPN, on this test w/ a Chicago Server (the most common server I get when logging in). Like I said earlier, I think it creeps up some at night?

I got a speed increase from 1000/60 to 1000/500 not bad on coax when prices and everything is the same I really love GC and the way they handle my traffic out to the world

got a new internet connection :D

Congratz @de.das.dude is it coax or fiber?

I got updated to docsis 3.1 Wednesday this week and so far I haven't seen any bad speeds to be frank.

I did a couple of runs on my M720q using a secure line

Fibre. I dont think have coax in the country anymore, unless its for intranets. Advantage of being the world's IT hub is you have decent internet for cheap :D

Glad to see Canada's upload speed getting better. It was not that long ago that upload was 5% of download.

Damn man... you don't want to know what I pay for my internet. I guess thats what you get with a small population, huge land area, and a monopoly.

CONNECTION - Wired @ Lisbon
PING - 7
DOWN - 515
UP - 104

Got new internet, my download is nice. My upload is sadly still kind of a joke.
