kets driver and the xfi driver are forever. the software is a trial, but you dont need that anyway.

Can people please read the thread? this has all been covered many times.

Thats not a plecebo effect, neither is so many people saying they have noticed a significant audio quality increase, and even other people in chat applications saying a individuals mic is much clearer than it was!

4. A valid MAC key isn't going to help WINDOWS users :rolleyes:

5. Actually, the Vista>XP split is very even. I myself have tried Vista SP1, and it simply blows. I'm waiting for W7 (which, shock horror, these modded drivers work perfectly fine on.) :cool:

ket, MAK not MAC, a mak key is one ms gives out FREE from dreamspark for windows, for somebody who supposedly knows all you sure are missing some big chunks of knowlage.

MAK stands for Multi Activation Key read the link and learn, effectivly ms gives their software away to anybody who can meet certen criteria.

I was once like you bad mouthing and bitching about vista, i hated it, now i have server 2008 and its everthing i wanted without the crap i didnt!!!!

IT JUST WORKS and if u dont like vista, your gonna endup not liking windows7 because its even a larger change in features and gui then vista, its a pain in the ass!!!!!

In my testing in 7.1 mode your drivers have NO diffrance in audio quility over my current drivers, tho this may be because the vista drivers for realtek cards are ALOT better then the xp drivers(hell the xp 64 drivers are better then the xp drivers!!)

Im not gonna argue the fact that under xp you may/probbly are hearing a diffrance, under vista, the diffrance was nill at best.

As to size, your drivers on my system are far from being 50mb range......they are 10mb(checked myself and with windows app tools) with creative software that easly would go WAY WAY up but the fact that the creative software dosnt see your drivers as compatable on vista/2k8 means those of us using them cant really test out what the creative software could do.

With my current windows driver you can't tell with headphones if the sound is coming from front or back. Something I could easily tell on Audigy with EAX 4 on BF2142.

eax isn what caused the 3d possitioning, its the driver itself, and realtek's 2 speeker possitional audio is hit and miss depends on the driver and app used, cmedia's old ac97 did a better job, to bad cmedia cant put out another hd audio codec to replace all these realtek codecs in use today!!!

I'm not going to bother reading all of that post, seems relatively pointless. Given your numerous spelling and grammatical errors of your first post, mistaking MAK for MAC was very easy. Also, if you continue with insults to me and other members when your making it rather clear you are at the very least some kind of fanboy, I'll be making a complaint about you to the mods and admins, as will other users I'm sure if you continue with insults like that towards them.

is normal that when u go to control panel to unistall the drivers appears as realtek hd? and it only weights 50 mb. i think there is something wrong here
 
So I can install this over my current realtek sound drivers? What does it do... I've read thru some of posts, but I cannot establish what it does...

this replaces the current realtek drivers, its just a moded version of the current realtek drivers to allow creative software support.

what it does, not much if ur on vista, some people say it improoves analog audio quility, I personaly dont see it, Maby if they are using the built in windows drivers for the audio it would make a huge diffrance.

on XP this allows people to install the creative software and run eax3 and 4 games with eax enabled, also alows them to use some creative software features like crystlizer.

this dosnt work on vista so if you use vista, your mostly gonna see a the name of the card change.

I got improvements using digital audio, albeit small ones. its not JUST looks.
 
These are the best, Better in every way, I still cant install the creative software but the quility is 10000x better, games have gained at least 20% performance and even my desktop system performance is improoved.

I got some creative apps running in vista 32 by using the modded augity vista drivers and apps.
Although the volume control and wave studio are still trial.

Please give some more details on what you've done.

If these are drivers someone ELSE has modded, then i suppose a link is ok. cause its not us who broke any rules

Well.. I already know that Cheeto Lover is Truth Teller, is Rebo&Zooty, is Ashen etc. etc. Frankly banning them does no good. The love.. or hate for TPU knows no boundaries.

I just installed the apps from "Creative.Soundblaster.Audigy.Series.Vista.Drivers[by.daniel_k]"
from each folder on the iso, some of them just whould not install.
Got Alchemy (for audigy) to install and media source 5, the Creative Graphic Equalizer installed but still gives the error on non supported hardware.
The control panel from SBXF_PCDRV_LB_2_18_0008 and the other x-fi mb software started working after I did this.
I may have also installed the drivers from the audio folder on the iso.
