Far out homies!!!
I got super nerdy and smelly during this .
So. After a lot of tinkering and efforts i just gave birth to a BEAST in its own right. Had some frustrating moments here and there. But it felt so good to get it working.
Pretty massive thread you got going here. Big thanks to everyone involved and who ultimately got me sorted out.
Just ran 3dmark and it runs impressively smooth.
I recommend paying attention to what

I think this project died :(

What finally got me there was NOT to disable videocards in device manager as advised by some. And i would advise to carefully make sure that you are replacing the location of nvlddmkm.sys in install.cmd with the CORRECT

location of the driver version file you are trying to get working. Because there are usually 1 other Nvidia driver on your system that windows uses.
I got mine working with DifferentSliAuto1.7.1. + 388.71 Drivers + Windows 10
For me the reason i needed DifferentSliAuto was that Dell Precision workstations do not natively support SLI with anything other than Quadro GPUs.
Specs:
Dell Precision T5600 Workstation
2x Xeon E5-2665 8C16T - Total of 16C32T with 2x AMD Prism coolers i hacked on there.
2x Manli Gallardo GTX 1070 8GB
64GB DDR3 1600Mhz 4x16GB
Samsung EVO 860 512GB SSD
Dell 825W PSU
EDIT:
Ok so i just found out about that HEX editing and new drivers.
Now running 441.20 without any issues. This is so cool.
Dont know if its the extra fan i put on my GPUs or the new drivers but i got an improved score aswell.
