I'm curious to know what people are using to cool their GPU and 45nm cpu and the temps they get from said hardware. If you feel so inclined to share with the world please post..

That ambient is rediculously high!

yeah it sucks. I can sometimes manage 76f

My ambient is 65F and thats only during the summer. I keep my apartment really cool temps though. :D

all waterblocks are cooled by 2x 240 rads, 1x 120 rad and 1x 360 rad....:p

all fans minimum, practically silent!:rockout:

very nice!! thats a sweet PC!

yeah my roomate keeps the thermostat on 78... sometimes 77

ambient: 20C or so
45nm cpu: Xeon E3120 3.8Ghz 1.18v
Mobo: DFI x48
Cooling: TRUE 120 lapped
Temps I/L: ambient (45nm have shit idle sensors) load <50C
Max temp using Intel Burn (optional):
GPU: 2x 4870
GPU cooling: accelero S1's with fan
Gpu I/L: 40C/60C,. give or take

it seems weird you're asking this information mainly for idle and load of 45nm CPU's, when 45nm intels are known to have useless temp sensors at idle.

those Dfi x48 boards are good for oc'n huh

Sure but you can get the same results with much less money rather easily. ;)

A nice P35/P45 can take an E8400 to 4Ghz and beyond easily. It matters much more what chip you choose really.

I noticed no 45nm AMDs listed yet...

How about these:

ambient: 28c
45nm cpu: AMD Phenom II 940 @ 3800Mhz/1.487v
Mobo: Asus M4A79 Deluxe
Cooling: CPU-Mugen II w/ 1900rpm Slipsteams Push/Pull
Temps I/L: Idle 34c, Load 49c
Max temp using OCCT (optional): 53c
GPU: 2 x Radeon HD4850
GPU cooling: 2 x Zalman VF1000
Gpu I/L: Idle 38c, Load 54c

Oh yeah here's another although not complete set of info.

ambient: 18c approx
45nm cpu: AMD 905e (stock settings)
Mobo: asus m4a79t deluxe
Cooling: Artic Freezer 64
Temps I/L: 21c

Can't remember load temps at stock settings, but at 3.375ghz load temps were 40c

Mine too!
Bought dfi p45 t2rs plus 132 euros and dfi x48 t2rs 109:toast:(for free actually ,RMAed something:toast:)

Yap they OC well but not like the p45 i must admit...Hard from 500 and above but they have 32 pcix lanes so its worth it!
