It was always around 300 bucks, but since I don't update my stuff almost daily, I'm willing to spend up to 400 for one card. That is if I can justify that with cool new games. So far, only The Duke comes to mind, and that alone doesn't justify it. Soo... yeah. But my vote's for 400-500$.

$320-400 no option for that price range :(.

Thanks for adding $300-400 w1zz

i voted $150 - $200
But I usually go $250 or less.

I'll usually spend about $250 to $300 out-of-pocket, but if I can sell my previous card I'll usually put that money towards the new one.

Between $300 to $500...
(oh and then waterblocks:))

Depends on how money is flowing at the time of purchase. I get the best I can afford at the time. So I guess I don't have a actual maximum I would spend.

How much are you willing to spend on graphics card?

Willing or able? :D

I'm willing to max out my credit card. Good thing there isn't a lot of room left currently so I'm not able to.

On a more serious note, ~$400.

If I upgrade I get one a couple months after launch and then wait ~6 months to (hopefully) let prices drift and maybe a second.

Between £100-200 but usually around £150 is a nice price.

I cant equate that to USD because the markets are different. Straight conversion doesn't really work.

$200 - $250. Shame that option isn't in the poll though... Strange.

$200-$300 (voted for $250-$300 though)

210-235euro. prabally 250-300usd mark:p

around 500 bucks

3-400

but i do tend to find good deals on used HW here in DK
and since we have VERY good RMA policies i dont have ANY worries about buying second hand :) as long as the receipt is there :)

I'm not much of a gamer. I bought a 5870 once for $300, but sold it 2~ months later since it was overwhelmingly excessive. At this point, my perfect card in terms of price/performance is a 5770.

so we are a little demanding 200-300 bills, i want the best but without wasting one display = one GFX

$80-300 for me. Anything less than $80 isn't worth its weight in dirt (use integrated--it's usually better) and I can't justify spending much more than $300 on a graphics card. Where on that spectrum it lands depends on what it is going to be used for.

if i were you i would stand the card although i wont use its power to the max. like now i run over power card since i do little gaming. most video and graphic editing, but thats fine it would ok for next few years before i plan new vga or board

The HD5670 is about $70 and is pretty darn good.

I like the performance per buck/watt sweetspot, hence I have had HD4850, 5850, 6870 and 6950 (current)

yeah I noticed this gap too.... odd.

In any case I voted $300-400. this isnt the sweetspot for price/performance I know, but I tend to like paying a decent bit more for the next card up in terms of raw power. a mid-range card will always be a mid-range card.

Well, I normally spend between £250 - £300, such as on my GTX 285 a couple of years ago.

This time I blew £400 on my GTX 580 - and I swore I wouldn't. :o

I tried being satisfied with the much cheaper Gigabyte SoC GTX 560Ti, but when I compared the two in my rig, there was simply no contest and I spent the cash. I've not regretted it, either.

So, what's my budget? Whatever my gut tells me to spend, I guess.
