No more pipes for you also (just 8). Sorry:mad: .

Hi people, I’ve just read about 70 pages of this thread and managed to register just to be able to be part of this community.

I too have a Sapphire X800GT card, but it only has 8piplines active and would like to see if I can get at least 12

I'm not any expert but after reading some posts I'm sure that if it is doable you guys would know it, and maybe even help me through it.:respect:

I'm using it with a Zalman VF700-Cu and ram heat sinks. Can't tell you if it has laser cut or not, because it already came with the new cooler. :D

Thanks again and hope to hear from you all soon.

Unfortunately no more pipes  . Sooooorry. Your card has R420 core which is with 2 laser cuts. You can try to connect the right bridge but most probably the result will be again 8 pipes.

No problem, I can't always win...hehe.
And I got a good price for it anyway .

By the way, when I use TRIX or the ATItool to see the stable overclock it just doesn't seem to stop. ATItool took like 30 min or more testing and looking fro errors (didn’t find any). Normally after a slight increase of the stock speed you can see some problems, but all that time was making me nervous, so I pressed "Abort". One of the reasons was that I couldn’t see the speeds it was doing and I didn't want to burn it. What do you recommend?

Thanks again for your reply.:D

PS: At least this thread brought me to this nice forum.

These are my fuses

I know that i have the r423 core but i am mystified by the fact that i can oc from 475/450 stock clocks to 560/650 staedy clocks

I am also geting a 3D Marks of 1058 on 3D mark06

so please advise me!

I hve been having a hard time following this thread but from what I have read it's very interesting. I have a powercolor x800gt 265mb ddr3. The info on the chip is
R480, 215RBQAGA11F, GF5039.1, 0445AA

This is from the ATITOOL, config_die_fuses 0xFFFF9...
CONFIG_SUBSTATE_FU 0xFFFF....
How do I know if I have any pipes to open?
Which bios is the best for this card?
TIA.:)

Use atitool to dump your bios, then post it here and we will mod it to 16 pipes, and the instructions how to flash it.

How do I do this, where do I find the setting to dump? I have a dump from ATI Tray Tool but am unable to upload it. It says it is an invalid file. Is this the line you are looking for?

In Atitool press <settings> then <Miscellaneous> then <Dump BIos>

I have a 256MB Radeon X800GTO AGP card. ATITool lists it as an R420, I know, look at the core, but in this case I suspect I'd be wasting my time. Also, should note that in Windows Vista it is misidentified as an X800 Pro.

I am able to get the dump and upload it but I can't seem to get the attacthment into the thead.
Edit. There it is.

There is something wrong with that bios, use Atitool0.24 for x800 series

Hey Tigger, you got a Pentium D 930 to 4050MHz? WOW. What motherboard are you using, and what cooling? I have a Pentium D 920, but my motherboard is all locked, so I can't overclock. Its an ASUS P5LP-LE. Also, can somebody please reply to my ATi Tray Tools thread please, if you know the answer to my question.
