thats true mate although i have NEVER checkd mobo temps and i only have the stock cooler on it! so i dnt no! i have tried to oc my mobo aswell but i cant seem to do it! can you guide me throu it amte just to c if i can if ya gt msn add me please its ali2487@msn.com im online nw it wud be a real help mate! plus if can oc my mobo i will make the whole case out of FANS! lol plus i will put an air conditioner next to it!
 
are you gonna get a new mobo casheti?.i have an arctic on my machine i run the fan full speed all the time tho',i've tried it on auto speed,but it gets into a loop.fan runs slow so chip gets hot so fan speeds up,when its cooler fan slows so chip gets hot so fan speeds up,gets cooler fan slows etc etc.i have a zalman vf700cu on my pussy of a x800gto.432,560 is the max clocks on this crappy 430 core.it was only £50 on special from ocku tho'.
i'm thinking of a 7600gt next tho' s'only £117 from ocuk for a bfg one,i've read the tests on it and it just about beats a 6800ultra.
can you post some pics of your machine and i will do the same.i have an akasa eclipse 62 case.it is really long(560mm) and wide(240mm).
 
Honestly mate, you are my Pentium D GOD!! I really wanna be able to overclock my pussy 2.8GHz Pentium D 920 to 4.0GHz like you did. I'm so gonna get your mobo, if it doesn't cost too much. My rig is bog standard apart from the mouse and the X850XT, so theres not much to see. I'll post my pics l8r
 
I have an Sapphire Radeon X800GTO PCIe 256MB GDDR3 Lite Retail

It has 12 active piplines and an R480 chip, but:

CONFIG_DIE_FUSES 0xFFFFBFFF
CONFIG_SUBSTRATE_FUSES 0xFFFFFF9E

Is there any way to unlock some piplines?

Your fuses don't match up, so I don't believe the extra pipes can be unlocked. However, you have an R480 core, which is great for overclocking. Stick an ATI Silencer 5 or a Zalman VF900 on it, and you should be set.
 
Hey stevorob, could your system BE any more stock? Get rid of all that Dell crap, and pretend it's a mesh, or a HP or sumthin'.
 
Hey guys this thread is not ironware. There should be another thread for cases, mobo's and DELL :D . It should be "X800 fuses data for unlocking "............

I know how you feel... my system is getting pretty old, so eventually I'll be building a new one... I've got an 8300.

For my comp, I chose the ATI Silencer purely because it vents heat out of the back of the case... my case has poor ventilation, so it doesn't take much to heat it up. Temps are good with the silencer... 33-35 idle depending on room temp and about 53-55 load.

My DELL system is old too. And the cooling is so bad that I need to open the window if I use it over a long time! Yeh, it warms up my entire room!

Yeah, mine does the same thing if I leave my door closed... my room will heat up 6 or 8 degrees. When you're not in your room, heh, leave the door open and get some circulation.
