The FireGL V3100 was a professional graphics card by ATI, launched in September 2004. Built on the 110 nm process, and based on the RV370 graphics processor, in its RV370 GL variant, the card supports DirectX 9.0. The RV370 graphics processor is a relatively small chip with a die area of only 74 mm² and 107 million transistors. It features 4 pixel shaders and 2 vertex shaders, 4 texture mapping units and 4 ROPs. Due to the lack of unified shaders you will not be able to run recent games at all (which require unified shader/DX10+ support). ATI has placed 128 MB DDR memory on the card, which are connected using a 64-bit memory interface. The GPU is operating at a frequency of 391 MHz, memory is running at 196 MHz.
Being a single-slot card, the ATI FireGL V3100 does not require any additional power connector, its power draw is not exactly known. This device has no display connectivity, as it is not designed to have monitors connected to it. FireGL V3100 is connected to the rest of the system using a PCI-Express 1.0 x16 interface.
