The Mobility FireGL V5200 was a professional graphics card by ATI, launched in February 2006. Built on the 90 nm process, and based on the M56 graphics processor, in its M56 GL variant, the card supports DirectX 9.0c. The M56 graphics processor is an average sized chip with a die area of 150 mm² and 157 million transistors. It features 12 pixel shaders and 5 vertex shaders, 12 texture mapping units and 12 ROPs. Due to the lack of unified shaders you will not be able to run recent games at all (which require unified shader/DX10+ support). ATI has placed 256 MB GDDR3 memory on the card, which are connected using a 128-bit memory interface. The GPU is operating at a frequency of 425 MHz, memory is running at 475 MHz.
Its power draw is not exactly known. This device has no display connectivity, as it is not designed to have monitors connected to it. Mobility FireGL V5200 is connected to the rest of the system using a PCI-Express 1.0 x16 interface.
