NVIDIA Extends Availability of Call of Duty Black Ops: Cold War Bundle for RTX 3080, RTX 3090 to January 2021

NVIDIA has decided to extend the availability of their bundle offer for the RTX 3080 and RTX 3090 graphics cards. The company announced last October that gamers who purchase those particular graphics cards would receive a code for the latest entry in the blockbuster Call of Duty franchise. In hindsight, this wasn't much of a big deal for the company; considering general availability for the RTX 30-series, it stands to reason that not many codes were activated, anyway. However, and probably in relation to the continuing shortages on NVIDIA's latest GPUs, the company has extended the bundle's offer through January 11th 2021 - the same day CES is happening. Codes must be redeemed via the GeForce Experience application on a system with a qualifying graphics card installed.

NVIDIA Bundles "Watch_Dogs: Legion" and 1-year GeForce NOW Subscription with RTX 30 Series

NVIDIA announced new graphics card+game bundle celebrating the launch of its GeForce RTX 30 Series "Ampere" graphics cards. Each of the three new cards, the RTX 3090, RTX 3080, and RTX 3070, will include a copy of "Watch_Dogs: Legion" with the card, along with a 1-year subscription to the GeForce NOW cloud gaming service. "Watch_Dogs: Legion" is the latest chapter in the "Watch_Dogs" franchise of open-world RPGs. The company appears to be building the user base of GeForce NOW with RTX 30 Series sales. Unlike EA's Origin Access, which is game-as-a-service (a form of SaaS), GeForce NOW is a cloud gaming service that streams gameplay across the Internet. The RTX 3090 and RTX 3080 launch around September 17, with prices starting at USD $1,499 and $699, respectively; while the RTX 3070 launches some time in October, at $499. "Watch_Dogs: Legion" releases on October 29.

EVGA Bundles in "Deliver Us The Moon" with Select RTX 20 Series Graphics Cards

The promotion is not from NVIDIA, and this is not the first time EVGA have gone the extra step to sweeten the deal towards consumers buying their cards as opposed to other add-in card partner solutions. Deliver Us The Moon is a weird little sci-fi thriller game with puzzle mechanics and rudimentary flight systems that yours truly found interesting for the few hours played thus far, and is well worth checking into- especially as a freebie on top of your GPU purchase. There is also NVIDIA RTX support to use with your new graphics card, and the ambient lighting in the game does benefit from it, especially when flying in space. NVIDIA Partners With Activision in Launching Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Bundles

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare's re-release will see the game supporting real-time raytracing, and given NVIDIA's current stand in the market as the only provider of hardware-accelerated raytracing capable GPUs, this partnership makes total sense. The bundle is available for eligible GeForce RTX 2080 Ti, 2080, 2070 Super, 2070, 2060 Super and 2060 products, whether in discrete card or laptop/desktop pre-built form. The game will be taking advantage of ray tracing and adaptive shading, and will bring gamers back to Soap and Price's story.

Gigabyte's Z390 Aorus Xtreme Waterforce and 5.1 Ghz Core i9-9900K Bundle Now Available

Remember that ludicrous Gigabyte bundle that mixed the company's most outrageously expensive motherboard with a cherry-picked Intel Core i9-9900K overclocked to 5.1 GHz? Well, it's finally available, if that's your particular kind of beach, and the pricing is better than was expected. Solo, the motherboard sets you back $999, while a cherry-picked Intel Core i9-9900K at 5.1 GHz would set you back some $939 in houses such as Silicon Lottery. However, Gigabyte have confirmed that the bundle pricing for these components for the US stands at $1,699 - which really isn't too shabby, if you consider the motherboard to have sufficient bang for your buck.

Free Game Alert: Age of Wonders III Being Offered by the Humble Store

The Humble Store, creators of the Humble Bundle where every purchase you make can be personalized, dividing the amount you pay between developers and a non-profit of your choice, has announced that they're giving away free copies of Age of Wonders II. The game, a 4X, turn-based strategy affair, currently stands at a "Mostly Positive" review score on Steam and an 80% aggregate score on Metacritic, was released back in March 31st, 2014.

The game will be available in the Humble Store through May 11, and you now have just 22 hours to redeem it. If you don't have a backlog of games (who doesn't, really), feel free to grab it. If you do have a backlog but don't have Age of Wonders III waiting on it, then you might as well add another sleeper to that heap.

Gigabyte to Bundle Overclocked, Cherry-picked Intel Core i9-9900K With $900 Z390 Aorus Xtreme Waterforce

Gigabyte has been stretching its product portfolio for a while now, and it seems the company really wants to be the one to distribute everything on your PC if it can. Of course, no company does this based on its good heart - Gigabyte is putting up a margin on all products, as the whole spirit of business and capitalism requires. Their latest move is to bundle an overclocked, cherry-picked Intel Core i9 9900K CPU with their most expensive motherboard to date, the Z390 Aorus Extreme Waterforce. This motherboard alone retails for $999, and is built from a "Gigabytestein" of parts such as their Z390 Aorus Extreme motherboard ($550) paired with a custom waterblock.

The good part of having the CPU bundled with the motherboard is that Gigabyte has taken the pains of BIOS tweaking to ensure proper, stable operation - each combo has already been tended to by Gigabyte's engineers - stress testing included - and is guaranteed to work at the cherry-picked 5.1 GHz frequency on all cores. The bundle pricing isn't known as of yet, but pairing the $999 motherboard with a CPU that usually retails for around $525 (due to price fluctuations on account of Intel's CPU shortages) amounts to a cool $1,524 - add in a Gigabyte tax and the price of cherry-picking these CPUs (Silicon Lottery has these i9-9900K going for an out of stock $939), and a bundle price of $1,899 would still be worth it - if you really (really) want that motherboard.
