After cases and coolers, it's the turn of Toughpower XT high-end PSUs by Thermaltake to get a whitewash, the company unveiled its "Snow Edition" variant. The Toughpower XT 1275W modular PSU is pictured below. Aesthetically, its main body is colored white, but its fan grille is the same chrome one, and its fan impeller is black (although the press-shot in the placard features a white impeller). Its fixed cabling has white sleeves, and modular (detachable) ones are pure-white flat cables, with black or red colored connectors to add a nice contrast.

The PSU has stellar efficiency, as it is 80 Plus Platinum certified. It features peak power output of 1375W, although 1275W is guaranteed and advertised. It features full bridge and LLC resonance circuitry with the DC-DC switching module, and interleaved active PFC. Its cables include eight PCIe power connectors, including six 6+2 pin, and two 8-pin. It is backed by a 7-year warranty.

Thermaltake unveiled Max 5 Duo, a nifty little gadget to put your empty 5.25" drive bays to use for. It is a combination of a 2.5-inch SATA hot-swap drive bay, a 3.5-inch hot-swap drive bay, and two USB 3.0 ports. The drive-dock part of this device is "dumb", meaning it lacks any local controller, and depends on SATA connections to the motherboard or third-party SATA add-on card. Naturally then, it "supports" SATA 6 Gb/s speeds. The USB 3.0 ports connect to the motherboard or USB 3.0 add-on card over standard USB 3.0 front-panel header.

Like with the Frio Snow Edition, Thermaltake's higher-end CPU air cooler, the Frio OCK, also has a Snow Edition variant. As a variant, its specifications are otherwise identical to the original, except that the black+red colored plastic parts (such as shrouds, fan frames, and impellers), are replaced with white+blue colored ones. The blue, of course, is an "icy" shade of it. The top shroud is black, to offer a nice contrast with the white+blue colored fan frame. Measuring 143 x 136.8 x 158.4 mm (LxWxH), the cooler weighs about 1.1 kg. It uses a slightly larger heatsink than the one found on the Frio, to which heat is conveyed by six 6 mm-thick heat pipes. The heatsink is ventilated by two 130 mm fans in "push-pull" configuration. The new variant also provides out-of-the-box support for LGA2011 socket.

Responding to the market's new-found love for white colored components, Thermaltake announced a few "Snow Edition" products, including the Frio Snow Edition, pictured below. This cooler uses the same exact design as the original version, but replaces the black+red plastic parts of it with white+blue, including a white colored fan impeller. It is a typical aluminum fin tower-type heatsink with two pre-fitted 120 mm fans in push-pull configuration. It measures 139 x 98 x 165 mm (LxWxH), weighing a little over 1 kg. Another feature of this cooler is out-of-the-box support for socket LGA2011.

This must be the coolest high performance mouse to be seen in some time. The Level 10 M mouse designed by Thermaltake and BMW is being introduced at CES 2012. Featuring a very high tech design, the shape can be physically adjusted to fit optimally in the palm of the hand by turning a screw on the top. It also features a perforated skin, to help deal with sweaty palms better during intense gaming sessions. The release date and price are yet to be announced as are more detailed specifications such as the tracking technology used and the DPI resolution.

Tt eSPORTS, the 'gaming obsessed division' of Thermaltake has now officially launched the Pyrrhus mouse pad. Coming in three dimensions - 440 by 350, 360 by 300 and 280 by 210 mm, the Pyrrhus is just 2 mm thick, and features a natural rubber base that provides a solid grip and a synthetic fiber material on top that's easy to clean (can be hand-washed) and enables precise tracking for all types of sensors.

The Pyrrhus mouse pads have begun being listed in Taiwan and should go global later this month.

Seven months after its Computex unveiling, Thermaltake's Frio Extreme CPU cooler has now finally been introduced and is preparing to make its retail debut later this month. The Frio Extreme has a maximum cooling capacity of 250W and supports Intel LGA 775, 1155, 1156, 1366, 2011 and AMD Socket AM2(+), AM3(+) and FM1 processors.

Thermaltake's cooler measures 148.2 (L) x 151 (W) x 160 (H) mm and features a dual-tower design, 0.4 mm aluminum fins, a mirror-finish copper base, six 6 mm-U-shape copper heatpipes, and two 140 mm PWM fans operating at 1200 to 1800 RPM (their maximum sound output is 39 dBA).

The Frio Extreme comes bundled with thermal grease and a VR and PWM function fan controller. No word on pricing though.
