NuPhy Prepares AIR75 V3 Ultra-Thin Wireless Mechanical Keyboard

The NuPhy company might be considered a small one, however since its official launch in 2019 it has managed to make itself known mostly for its low-profile keyboards such as the Air series. Their latest addition, the NuPhy AIR75 V3 mechanical keyboard is now ready for pre-order. With an ultraslim 12.8 mm profile, this 75% layout keyboard houses 84 keys in a compact aluminium frame (aluminium top case with ABS bottom, PC plate, and double-shot PBT keycaps) measuring 318. 9 mm x 128.9 mm with a weight of 724 grams. Another standout feature is the 4000 mAh battery providing up to 1200 hours of usage with backlighting disabled, or 60—100 hours with RGB lighting active.

Connectivity options include 2.4 GHz wireless, Bluetooth 5.0, and USB-C wired connection. The 2.4 GHz and wired modes operate at 1000 Hz polling rate, while Bluetooth runs at 125 Hz. The keyboard supports hot-swappable low-profile switches and features gasket mounting with plate-mounted stabilizers. NuPhy's custom Nano switches provide mechanical feedback while maintaining the slim profile. The north-facing RGB LEDs offer 20 different backlighting modes. The keyboard includes "rhythm lights" for battery status indication and supports full N-key rollover across all connection modes.

Thermaltake Adds Nordic Wooden Accents to Its PC Cases at Computex 2025

A few booths here at Computex are as colorful as Thermaltake's, as the company proved in recent years that they're one of those who aren't afraid to "play with colors". Now we're in 2025, and it seems that Thermaltake has discovered another way to add more flavor to their products, at least if we look at some of their new or updated PC case series, where they've added warm wood-textured panels and accents. Here we have the Tower 600 with touches of wood elements, the tiny, compact, modular TR100 has been fitted with wooden side accents. Touches of wood have been added even to View 380 XL and View 270 cases.

Thermaltake also presented two new small form factor cases, the TR200 and TR300, which can be seen as follow-ups to the TR100 18.9-liter dual-chamber chassis series launched last year. Both cases follow the same path as TR100 and sports swappable front panels with and without wooden elements. Thermaltake will offer both TR200 and TR300 cases in black and white variants, supporting up to a 360 mm radiator, up to six 120 mm fans, and will be compatible with the 6-inch LCD Screen Kit.

Thermaltake Shows Off TR300 & TR200 Cases at Computex 2025

Over a month ago, TechPowerUp published a review of the Thermaltake TR100 compact dual-chamber ITX chassis. Darksaber was seriously impressed by his Hydrangea Blue variant; thus the resultant "Editor's Choice" and "Great Value" badges of honor. Prior to the receiving of a lone sample evaluation sample, TPU staff members inspected demonstration units on two separate occasions. At last year's Computex trade event, and then at CES 2025. At launch, four colors were made available: Black, Snow (aka white), Matcha Green, and Hydrangea Blue. During the setup of this year's booth, the Thermaltake crew granted early access to members of the press. Upon arrival, TechPowerUp's photographer spotted an intriguing "Gravel Sand" TR100 model. This colorway/finish is a familiar sight, as sported by various readily available "The Tower" and "View" models.

The company's TR100 product page mentions two other color options: Bubble Pink and Mint Strawberry. At the time of writing, their Gravel Sand sibling is not listed. Brand-new taller TR300 and TR200 cases were sat to the left of the original 18.4-liter small form factor (SFF) design. The former seems to be approaching mid-tower elevation; likely voluminous enough to accommodate larger components. An optional front panel piece—sporting Scandi-esque wooden slats—was placed nearby; implying a swappable configuration. Thermaltake's "in-the-middle" TR200 SKUs could be tall enough to accept microATX format motherboards. A snow-white demonstration unit was prepped and running an installed 3.9-inch LCD Screen Kit (also present on the TR300 demo unit)—currently available as an extra attachment for the TR100 series.

PowerColor Red Devil Radeon RX 9070 XT "Backplate Edition" Card Reportedly in the Works

Last week, PowerColor introduced a Spectral White spin-off of its flagship Red Devil Radeon RX 9070 XT Limited Edition model. According to fresh inside track info, the Taiwanese manufacturer is preparing yet another premium level RDNA 4 option. VideoCardz has detected whispers regarding a speculated "Red Devil Radeon RX 9070 XT Backplate Edition" product; the online publication has a history of sourcing pre-launch details from board partner industry moles.

PowerColor's older Red Devil graphics card products can be customized with swappable backplates—Devil Skin designs are identified as "Intrusive" and "Generative." VideoCardz believes that the alleged "Backplate Edition" card will be based on the brand's regular Red Devil RX 9070 XT model. It is not clear whether this special edition package will be bundled with successors to the two RX 7000 Series-only Devil Skin attachments, but insiders have indicated a current "in production" status of "Backplate Edition" cards.

XFX & ASRock Register Radeon RX 9070 Series SKUs in South Korea

XFX and ASRock have registered various Radeon RX 9070 XT and RX 9070 SKUs in South Korea—earlier today, harukaze5719 discovered these "public secrets." The National Radio Agency received two filings from Hightech Systematic Limited (aka XFX); the graphics card manufacturer is seeking certification for five models. A single filing from ASRock Incorporation contains one product, a Radeon RX 9070 (non-XT) Challenger 16 GB card—TechPowerUp spent a little bit of hands-on time with this particular model at CES 2025.

XFX showcased two unnamed custom Radeon 9070 graphics card designs at last month's CES event, but yesterday's leak revealed a slew of incoming MERCURY, QUICKSILVER and SWIFT SKUs. The latest South Korean filings corroborate a couple of the accidental Canadian retail listings. The unannounced QUICKSILVER Magnetic Air model has attracted the most interest—promotional imagery is not available at the time of writing, but VideoCardz reckons that XFX could borrow elements from last year's hot-swappable Radeon RX 7900 XTX and RX 7800 XT Series design. TPU's W1zzard praised XFX's Magnetic Air system, in his evaluation of the Radeon RX 7900 XTX MERCURY model. An "amazing removable fan implementation" was pinpointed as a major highlight. The unusual usage of Honeywell PTM7950 thermal paste—a phase change material (PCM)—was another novel plus point.

InWin Introduces New Server & IPC Equipment at CES 2025

InWin has showcased several new server chassis models at CES—these new introductions form part of the company's efforts to expand regional IPC, server, and systems assembly operations going into 2025. New manufacturing facilities in the USA and Malaysia were brought online last year, and new products have sprung forth. TechPowerUp staffers were impressed by InWin's RG650B model—this cavernous rackmount GPU server has been designed with AI and HPC applications in mind. Its 6.5U dual-chamber design is divided into two sections with optimized and independent heat dissipation systems—GPU accelerators are destined for the 4.5U space, while the motherboard and CPUs go into the 2U chamber.

The RG650B's front section is dominated by the nine pre-installed hot swappable 80 x 30 mm (12,000 RPM max. rated) PWM fans. This array should provide plenty of cooling for any contained hardware; these components will be powered by an 80 Plus Titanium CRPS 3200 W PSU (with four 12V-2x6 pin connectors). InWin's spec sheet states that their RG650B supports 18 FHFL PCI-Express slots with four PCI-Express riser cables—granting plenty of potential for the installation of add-in boards.
