Why people buy all white PC, must be a pain to keep clean. Don't get me wrong some builds look nice but just can't get over the fact the dust gets in everywhere and on white it's super noticeable.
Might as well buy Noctua right away. If its plastic... you won't be keeping it white. Just not happening. Metal works okay. White fan blades... lel. It'll be fun for a few months I guess.
I do like the departure from all those black shrouds. Also they finally figured out white means white pcb, white everything.
Edit: Videocardz shows Micro Center selling these "products" for 900 USD.
or need RED & WHITE, lol, as old cigarettes brand:D
I dare say I’ve seen a Zotac card at one point with yellow tinted fan blades that showed this yellowing from white but I have never experienced this myself .
I also just bought this white powercolor devil card card from my local Microcenter (last pic) . Let’s see if this one loses its color turn cream /yellow etc but I doubt it
Or even Arch Angel haha.
Ah.. if only we were back in the diablo 3 days.. we could of gotten a reaper of souls edition. ah. Good times.
I saw a white 1060 pulled out of someone's system who definitely was a heavy indoor smoker (you could even smell it on the card) about a year ago.
The top side of the shroud was a bit meh, but the underside wasn't just yellow, it was more like brownish orange. Definitely not a pleasant sight.
I do not know any injection molding marterial which is perfect in every aspect. For 5 years without direct sun exposure and without hand cream or other chemicals near the plastic - the white parts may keep their color.
I have mostly black parts and I see a lot of dust.
There is no unique black or white color. I doubt a white build is really all the same white anyway. A car dealer told me once there are several white colors for cars.
White Devil you say?
I don't think I can say that everything that is white gets yellowish over time, it depends!
The problem I have to too dark tech items it that they absorb all the light and you can't really see the shape of the item. But with the right balance I like dark stuff too.
"Nobody messes...WITH THE DO!"
Plastics tend to yellow sooner for some reason, but it's only a matter of time anyway.
