With memory prices continuing to plummet, now is a great time to be looking for memory upgrades. Winter hardware releases are in full swing, there is competition from both Intel and AMD, and the Red brand has thoroughly fixed the memory issues of generations past. No longer do users have to worry about memory compatibility or shopping for expensive AMD-branded kits. With 3200 MHz natively supported on the new Ryzen platform, options for enthusiasts have never been more open.

Team Group is a Taiwan-based manufacturer largely rooted in the manufacture of flash memory products. The brand has spent the past few years building a name for itself as an emergent leader in high performance memory products with their award winning T-Force brand. T-Force offers a whole roster of gaming memory with a focus on striking designs and high performance.

The Team Group T-Force Xtreem is one of my favorite non-RGB memory kits, with a beautiful machined heat sink that is as hefty as they come. As the name implies, the new TeamGroup T-Force Xtreem ARGB takes the Xtreem into a whole new direction. With massive addressable RGB LED zones, the TeamGroup T-Force Xtreem ARGB is as modern as they come. However, as the specifications on my sample will attest, the TeamGroup T-Force Xtreem ARGB retains the most important element from its older non-RGB sibling: performance.

The TeamGroup T-Force Xtreem ARGB kit I have for testing today is specced at 16 GB (2 x 8 GB) 3600 MHz with 14-15-15-35 timings at 1.45 V. This is as good as it gets for the Ryzen platform. With twice the benchmarks to go through, let's not waste any more time! How will the TeamGroup T-Force Xtreem ARGB perform?
