A Closer Look - Inside

As mentioned all blue panels also sport a dust filter and the sides are no different. These are also color matched, which is a really nice touch.

The interior layout of the Thermaltake TR100 goes for the trusted and true, classic sandwich variant. One side is meant for the GPU while the other holds the SFX PSU next to the motherboard.

On the GPU side, the three slots are protected by three reusable covers with thumb screws. In the front of this compartment, you will find a built-in, plastic GPU support bracket and another vent with a removable dust filter.

Looking at the case from the other side, the motherboard placement is upside down, so that the PCIe slot is at the top with a metal bracket meant to pin the PCIe cable down, so that it does not interfere with any ceiling mounted cooling. In the front, next to the board area, a simple bracket will allow you to install an SFX or SFX-L PSU. There are lots of well-placed cable hooks for cable management, which are quite valuable for a compact SFF chassis.

In the ceiling, it's all about cooling, with just enough room for 280 mm AIOs. If you opt for an air cooling setup, you will have a little bit of extra breathing room.

Thermaltake has paid a lot of attention to detail inside the TR100 and that trend continues with the all white wiring. On one hand, they are perfect in length, on the other they match the white interior and both USB leads are flat-band for easier cable management. Thermaltake has also unified the front panel connectors to make that assembly step as easy as possible.
