ASRock Rack Leveraging Latest 4th Gen AMD EPYC Processors with AMD "Zen 4c" Architecture,

ASRock Rack, the leading innovative server company, today announced its support of 4th Gen AMD EPYC processors with AMD "Zen 4c" architecture and 4th Gen AMD EPYC processors with AMD 3D V-Cache technology, as well as the expansion of their new products ranging from high-density storage, GPU, multi-nodes servers all for the new AMD processors.

"4th Gen AMD EPYC processors offer the highest core density of any x86 processor in the world and will deliver outstanding performance and efficiency for cloud-native workloads," said Lynn Comp, corporate vice president, Server Product and Technology Marketing, AMD. "Our latest family of data center processors allow customers to balance workload growth and flexibility with critical infrastructure consolidation mandates, enabling our customers to do more work, with more energy efficiency at a time when cloud native computing is transforming the data center."
With the launch of 4th Gen AMD EPYC processors, based on "Zen 4c" architecture, in addition to the existing general-purpose server product line, ASRock Rack now introduces their dual-socket all-flash servers 2U24E-GENOA2, 1U12E-GENOA2 and high-density storage servers 4U36L6E-GENOA/2T, 4U60L8E-GENOA/2T to the market for no-compromise cloud native computing and outstanding levels of power efficiency while supporting workload scale.

Further, ASRock Rack also announces the 2U4N-GENOA/M3 and 4U8G-GENOA2 for high-performance computing, and workloads such as electronic design automation, computational fluid dynamics, weather forecasting, quantum mechanics, etc. 2U4N-F/GENOA-M3 has 4 server nodes and each equipped with 4 hot-swap 2.5" NVMe drive bays, 2HHHL PCIe x16, and 1 OCP NIC 3.0 at the rear for network expansion. Whereas, 4U8G-GENOA2 with up to 24 hot-swap 2.5 drive bays has been optimized to handle large datasets and applications in AI training, deep learning, data analytics, and more. For many challenging workloads, with the support of 4th Gen AMD EPYC processors with AMD 3D V-Cache technology, users can take advantage of having access to this large L3 cache and enable improved performance by continuously feeding the processor with data without having to access main memory outside of the CPU. "With our AMD 3D V-Cache technology, customers can take advantage of the 4th Gen AMD EPYC processor's leadership performance and energy efficiency to enhance the productivity of the teams running complex design, verification, and simulation, driving faster time-to-market for new products and technologies," said Lynn Comp, corporate vice president, Server Product and Technology Marketing, AMD.

Other than barebone systems, ASRock Rack has integrated the support of the latest AMD EPYC processors into its comprehensive portfolio of server motherboards, enabling customers to take advantage of the unparalleled capabilities offered by these processors. The motherboards with a single socket include GENOAD12M3-2Q, GENOAD24QM3-2L2T/BCM featuring 12 memory channels, and GENOAD8X-2T/BMC supporting 8 PCIe slots, etc. Apart from the single-socket boards, the dual-socket motherboards, like the proprietary T-shape GENOA2D24TM3-2L+ and GENOA2D24G-2L+ with 20 MCIO all support 12+12 DDR5 DIMMs and PCIe Gen 5. These motherboards are specifically designed to handle CPU/Memory intensive workloads and offer exceptional flexibility.
