Introduction

Endgame Gear Logo

Endgame Gear is a peripherals company based in Germany. With the XM2we, Endgame Gear finally turns their XM1r wireless. The XM2we is the budget version of the XM2w, whose release is still pending, and thus has been released prior to the XM2w. Whereas the XM2w will be using PixArt's PAW3395 sensor along with a dual-core MCU from STMicroelectronics, the XM2we utilizes PixArt's PAW3370 capable of 19,000 CPI in conjunction with a CompX CX52850 MCU, which has previously seen use on several releases from Pulsar, Xtrfy, Fantech, or LAMZU. For the main buttons, Endgame Gear has opted for Kailh GO optical switches, whose main advantage over the mechanical switches used for the XM2w is their inability to develop double-clicking due to wear and tear over time. As for the feet, the XM2we comes with two large skates made of pure PTFE. Much like the XM1r, the XM2we does without holes or RGB lighting, yet weighs just 61 g. Endgame Gear cites a battery life of around 70 hours. The software has the usual customization options. The XM2we is available in black or white.
