ZOTAC International, a leading innovator and the world's largest channel manufacturer of graphics cards, motherboards and mini-PCs, today unleashes the ZOTAC GeForce GTX 460 3DP - the world's first NVIDIA Fermi-powered graphics card capable of up to four native display outputs. The ZOTAC GeForce GTX 460 3DP enables multi-monitor computing with up to four simultaneous displays from a single graphics card for enhanced productivity, gaming and multimedia.

The ZOTAC GeForce GTX 460 3DP packs three DisplayPort and one dual-link DVI connectors that are capable of driving up to four independent displays simultaneously with a combined resolution up to 6400 x 1200. Three DisplayPort connectors enable the ZOTAC GeForce GTX 460 3DP to support resolutions up to 4800x1200 across three independent displays for true spanned triple-monitor computing. A dual-link DVI output enables connectivity to extreme high-definition displays with the ZOTAC GeForce GTX 460 3DP for connectivity to a single monitor at resolutions up to 2560x1600 for users without DisplayPort capable displays.
"Quadruple-display computing is becoming more popular for gaming and office use. The ZOTAC GeForce GTX 460 3DP ships with a Prince of Persia: The Forgotten Sands game bundle to let users instantly take advantage of the gaming capabilities of the graphics card. GTX 460 3DP we can deliver quadruple-display computing with NVIDIA Fermi architecture from a single graphics card, a world's first," said Carsten Berger, marketing director, ZOTAC International.

Beneath the ZOTAC GeForce GTX 460 3DP is a tweaked NVIDIA GeForce GTX 460 graphics processor overclocked to 710 MHz for an extra performance boost. A large 1GB of graphics memory coupled with a 256-bit wide memory interface works with the graphics processor to deliver phenomenal visuals and details in Microsoft DirectX 11-based games and applications.

“Quadruple-display computing is becoming more popular for gaming and office use." Seriously? OMG! Everybody is doing it! I should get four new 25:12 monitors not one 1080p capable and hook'em up to this magnific card to get all the 3 fps it can offer for the four as I turn Windows on! What do you mean gaming? I start Doom.exe and get an awesome still screensaver!

Now, besides me being cranky, four displays requiereeither two cards or one with much more juice.

Can the 460 actually handle 4 monitors without melting? It is a good card but is it THAT good?

In most cases, easily. As for gaming, I'm pretty sure many games will run like crap at 4800x1200.

It's the combined resolution of 6400x1200 that I'm worried about. I have two 1920x1200 monitors and two 1080p monitors :\

The Box says 2048MB GDDR5, just like it should be with the said resolutions, but everywhere else it's 1024:wtf:

good point I just saw that too, for such insane resolutions 2gb does make sense.

Para la oficina se la creo, no hay mucho que acelerar... pero para juegos... ahí si que no me la creo...

Además, no por tener 2GB de memoria asegura que un juego vaya fluido...

Estaría buena esta característica tal vez para la GTX480

Saludos!

Got beat to the obvious slideshow on multiple monitors comment. This is a great card but not on multiple monitors.

Bare in mind, the card is specifically designed the card for multi monitor set ups.

Even if you just get one more monitor BAM ultra wide screen ratio.

let alone if you use 4.

Not sure I see the point. . . a 470 would make sense, but a 460 . . not so much.

Does that mean it requires an extra power plant to run?
