Cooler Master Eisberg 240L Prestige CPU Cooler Launched

Cooler Master launched the Eisberg 240L Prestige liquid CPU cooler. What sets it apart from the Graham's number other closed-loop CPU coolers in the market is its exposed copper-fin radiator, micro-channel matrix in the business end of the block, and pressure-enhancing jetstream technology. The cooler consists of a block+pump component, and a 280 x 124 x 30 mm radiator that can hold up to four 120 mm fans in push-pull configuration, although Cooler Master includes two. The two components are joined by pre-fitted flexible coolant tubing. The block features a port that allows you to change the coolant. Slated for market release soon, the Eisberg 240L Prestige is priced over 150€. Find a review at the source.

From what I was told at CES last year, those are compression fittings, and this kit breaks down so that you can add a GPU block into it as well.

It looks like you can detach tubes as well. And considering the pump size, it might be slightly more powerful than ones used on other closed loop coolers.

Though, how would you vent out the air when replacing the coolant? I mean, how can you make sure there isn't any air left in it (air is bad in a water cooler).

I would rather for new CORSAIR H100i, They are pioneer in this and if I consider to pay 160 for closed water cooling than Swiftech H2O-X20 Edge HD Series is best option maybe... easy add one EVGA HC waterblock plus. I don't like this pump...CORSAIR make that nicer...

You do know Corsair do not make any of the coolers. They are not Pioneers in this. Coolit makes the H80/H100 for them. Same goes for Asetek which makes the H50/H70. Circle pump mount is Asetek and Square is Coolit. That how you tell who makes what.
This mentality about products is just bad. people really needs to learn.

They are the only 2 companies out there that makes the closed loop system.
The CM version is by far better as it uses cooper rad instead of aluminum, which makes dissipating heat much better.
Another is that the Eisberg come pre-filled and just install it.
The Swiftech H2O-X20 Edge HD, you still need to plug everything in, fill it and test it. Some people just do not want to deal with that and just make thing easier on them.

Maybe is easy if I always say I choose them because manufacturer for them make nicer models.

But I mean this

If I mean pioneer I mean first CORSAIR than Zalman, Thermaltake, Enermax, CoolerMaster,...
I don't know who make first CORSAIR or Antec first model but fot me CORSAIR is pioneer and I believe only in CORSAIR abut leakage problem.
Their technical support only is enough reliable for me to make liquid on expensive HW.
I don't want to chase for some CM and Thermaltake if something happen...

I think this Eisberg is maybe better performanse than H80 and H80i.

Liking the aesthetics and quality insurrance (ie. support) of the Corsair Hydro models better does not make them a pioneer nor a better performer by default...
I believe Coolit already sold some of their models in the retail channel before Corsair did, Asetek however was OEM only (and still is).
Rest assured that the better pump, copper radiator (not cooper ;)) and micro-channel matrix lead to better results as the H100 and H80. The OCaholic review shows that it outperforms the Silver Arrow and Phanteks dual-tower HST's.

no air left in if you fill it like before installing it, just shake a bit the radiator and open the fill port one time or two times.

I think this approach at semi-closed loop has gone too far, the H100 is a good product priced reasonably and that is the last step before a custom loop in my honest opinion.
I mean a Swiftech APD comboed with a radiator is probably better than this, I'll throw a bone, Swiftech should sell APD packages! :)

Thanks for sharing that link since it really does clarify Corsair's stance on the entire "you just stick a sticker on it" comments that come up inevitably with these. The rest of the thread is pretty interesting especially the Corsair rep's additional comments on the topic of re-branding.
