NZXT Announces the Aer Series RGB LED Fans

NZXT announced the Aer line of 120 mm and 140 mm case fans with RGB LED lighting along the fan frames. The fans are characterized by non-circular inlets, housing a multi-color RGB LED array with 8 diodes. Interestingly, the impellers are opaque, matte-black. The LED colors, and lighting programs can be controlled using the NZXT CAM software, and through the NZXT Hue+ fan-controllers. The fans themselves are driven by 4-pin (PWM) power input, with a wide RPM range. The company didn't reveal pricing or availability.

Lol..those pictures.

What is the point of installing 3 RGB fans on the front of a case that will be completely obscured when the front panel is installed.

Madness.

The new trend in cases, is windowed fronts or mesh.
Some people like flashy cases.

ChaitanyaToo much RGB, I hate this whole RGB crap being released these days.
Again I dont understand the source is another tech site when NZXT themselves have posted detailed product page on their website.
www.nzxt.com/product-overview/aer-rgb-features
and I hate people endlessly monotonously stating that they hate RGB on every article that shows some of it....

I had a bunch of Thermaltake Riing RGB fans inside a Cooler Master Maker 5 case. Just replaced them all with the new Corsair ML non-LED fans (made by Sunon). I also have a Hue+ with two strips on a single channel. If these are as quiet as the ML fans (which I doubt) it might be a good option to switch to.

And the source thing not being direct from NZXT, is just the way news aggregators work, they want to get it on their page for click through as quickly as possible and don't bother to look any further than the first link they find. #lazyjournalism
