EK Water Blocks Releases Monoblock for ASUS Maximus IX Apex

EK Water Blocks, the Slovenia-based premium computer liquid cooling gear manufacturer is releasing a new monoblock for the ASUS ROG MAXIMUS IX APEX hardcore overclocking motherboard. The ROG MAXIMUS IX APEX motherboard features two EPS 12V 8PIN ATX power plugs which mean serious overclocking potential, so the EK-FB ASUS M9A Monoblock is up to the task of cooling that powerful VRM.

This is a complete all-in-one (CPU and motherboard) liquid cooling solution for the new Intel Z270 Express Chipset LGA-1151 ASUS ROG Maximus IX APEX motherboard that supports the latest 7th generation and 6th generation Intel Core Processors as well. Designed and engineered in cooperation with ASUS, this monoblock uses award-winning EK-Supremacy EVO cooling engine to ensure best possible CPU cooling.
This water block directly cools Intel LGA-1151 socket type CPU and power regulation (MOSFET). Liquid flows directly over all critical areas, providing the enthusiasts with a great solution for high and stable overclocks. Like with every EK monoblock, EK-FB ASUS M9A features high flow design and this monoblock can be easily used with the system using a weaker water pump as well. The base of the monoblock is made of nickel-plated electrolytic copper while the top is made of quality acrylic glass material. The nickel plated brass screw-in standoffs are pre-installed and allow for easy installation.

EK-FB ASUS M9A Monoblock is made in Slovenia, Europe and is readily available for purchase through EK Webshop and Partner Reseller Network. MSRP: 119.95€.

This is the Best Tech News of the day. :peace: Thank You EK!

This means EK will produce in all probability, a monoblock for the upcoming Rampage VI Apex, which I cannot wait to pick up later this year.

Rampage VI Extreme with a 6-core for the workstation work rig.

Rampage VI Apex with a Quad-core for gaming and everything else. Two Intel Optane 32GB memory modules in RAID0 mounted on the Apex DIMM.2 riser card, oh my gracious. :p

Hoping Asus adds a rear I/O cover to the R6A, oh wait they have to, that's part of the X299 VRM heatsink. :)

People still buy these things? They kinda look alright...

How exactly is this a 'complete all in 1 CPU/MoBo cooling solution' when it doesn't cool the chipset/s??? Installing this wont increase your clocks anymore than you can with a standalone CPU block.

EK marketing talks so much crap LoLoLoL

If we were to believe them, they'd be the first/only/best LC supplier HaHaHa

There really is no chipset on the board since AMD is SoC and the northbridge/southbridge are on the CPU. Cools all those vrm's around the CPU... But yeah, not really going to help overcock a chip that can't be overclocked much.

This is for an Intel board, not AMD.
