Ubisoft Connect Beta's Rollout is Complete

Back in June, we unveiled the all-new Ubisoft Connect PC Beta rolling out gradually throughout the summer. Today, we're happy to say all PC players can jump in and test it out. This version of Ubisoft Connect PC was built from the ground up to meet your needs, improve usability, and enhance your experience while playing games. If you haven't tried it yet, go ahead and click the toggle switch at the top right of your desktop app to switch to the Beta version.

We've worked on several improvements in the past three months, and there's more in our pipeline. As we expand Ubisoft Connect PC, we're continuously looking for feedback. Please don't hesitate to switch to the new version every now and then (or just keep using it!) and let us know what you think: Ubisoft Connect PC Beta Feedback Form.

What? No? I don't care? Fck off with your umpteenth iteration of your shite launcher that serves mostly to push more advertising into our faces - while breaking games left and right.

'Beta announcement'...as if we want to even test this for them. Mind blowing, you have to be pretty deep into Ubi's hole to do this.

I tried it (hoping it would make my game crash less...) and the UI is worse. The only positive is that it doesn't lose connection as often. That or it doesn't tell you anymore.

Overall, I wish they'd just give it up. It's absolute garbage.

Nope. I haven't touched a Ubisoft game on PC since UPlay.

That's probably all they improved then, given the name of the app :D

Just install the update, works well and looks much better. :)
Not sure why people dislike the app, i have no issues with it.

Never seen any advertising being pushed into my face, not sure what you're even talking about.

I still haven't seen a launcher anywhere as good as Steam. If Ubisoft just aped Steam while making the UI more responsive/twice as fast as Steam they'd probably gain some market share.

Hint to other companies: a LIST of games (Steam LIbrary) is the way to go. Seeing gigantic icons for every game is stupid, we already own the damn things, just show a list of what games are in our account and only give an option to view as tiles, don't make it the default. I can't believe other companies haven't figured this out yet.
