ASUS has too many laptop somethingBOOK lines. Like there's a series theoretically targeting every 10% step in chassis "premium-ness".

Seriously.

"specifications are headlined by an 'up to Intel Core 7 processor (Series 1)'"

up to Intel Core 7 series 1. So... a Series 1 or a Series 1? Or every Intel Core is a Series 1 now, but we still have 3, 5, 7? Stay tuned!

Until now Intel has only used Series 1 for the Meteor Lake mobile processors. The CPUs here - the 120U and 150U - are Raptor Lake monolithic Intel 7 mobile processors that came out Q1 2024. So now it seems Series 1 is any mobile processor with a three digit number beginning with 1. It is happening because Intel is done with the gens thing and will be only be using Series from now on for mobile and desktop processors.
