I like the Gigabyte Threadripper board, but to get the max output of using this board, you have to use their RAM, and GPUs with the AI software? Internally, I thought this could be a dynamic workstation motherboard. And using any of the current 5090 GPUs.

I have a gigabyte aero and I’m happy with it. However for mid-higher end boards ($225+ usd) they should come with a full 5 year warranty and comprehensive bios support for at least 5 years as well.

Do you use the AI top software, or is it not included in that motherboard?

I wonder what the hell AI Top Utility even is or does in terms of "AI" which is a very broad terms that could literally equate to nearly anything since you can apply AI in some shape or form to damn near everything. The Z890 AERO G if it's anything like earlier AERO boards from Gigabyte could be really interesting they tended to have good USB-C connectivity and Ethernet as often a bit higher tier than most boards offer which is nice to see integrated and often pretty robust on the M.2 slots. Not every AERO board was a home run on design, but a good few of them looked really compelling on the features in terms of what they included within chipset designs.

I intend to explore how this could be advantageous for me in the long term. I value the motherboard's compatibility and design, and I eagerly anticipate the next generation of Threadripper. I've come across information indicating that in order to utilize all its features, it's essential to use Gigabyte RAM, GPUs, and other components. In my view, this is an unconventional way of categorizing products for this motherboard, since not using them could lead to a loss of several features and functionalities.

Therefore, I need to gather more information. I reached out to Gigabyte a while back but have yet to receive a response.

Let's wait and see.
