Xigmatek at Computex 2025: Massive Screen AIOs, Desk Cases, and Full Towers
A new giant AIO CLC cooler screen module marked Xigmatek's Computex 2025 presence. It hooks directly into its CPU pump via a rotating shoulder-style cradle, letting builders orient the display vertically or horizontally. The oversized panel spans nearly the entire width of a full ATX motherboard. It streams real-time system metrics—CPU/GPU temperatures, fan speeds, clock frequencies, and performance graphs—alongside custom images or GIFs. Firmware is still being refined for latency and color calibration, but early prototypes demonstrated smooth refresh rates and responsive touchscreen control. Beyond the specs, this thing is just plain fun. Picture cracking open your PC's side panel and being greeted by a mini billboard where your cooler lives—no more squinting at tiny OLED badges or fumbling through software widgets. It's like giving your rig a big, bold, and unashamed personality trait. On the chassis front, Xigmatek followed a similar philosophy. Its Alphard series of cases, inducing Alphard Digital/Pro/Pro Max, include different LCD screens with varying sizes, depending on the model, in mid-tower and full-tower ATX cases.Other lineups like the Aqua series focus on spacious interiors for air and water cooling steups, while the Pano II Pro case is good for showcasing any product with its open design, visible from all angles through its glass panels.Last but not least, Xigmatek showed a desk PC case, which can house massive components for ATX builds. Everything from water cooling loops to massive GPUs can be accommodated. A glass panel allows users to look inside, so whoever plans on building inside one must be very tidy.

And I was going to ask who here gives two craps about that and why....honestly.
Like a small screen on a drive bay that shows maybe some temperature stuff could be nice, but that also takes me back to the Logitech G15/17/19 keyboards with their screen on top (which then makes me wonder why that idea has not been persuid yet and allowing you to use your phone as a screen for that info while charging it on some usb c base....)
anywho, long story short....the hell is up with this screen obsession, its cheap and pointless.
Dont forget to create articles for each staff member, and their dogs.
jk, I will look for portable monitors that can be used as side panel :).
And face it, the money the pc mfgr's make from hardware & software sales to the gamr crowd helps to subsidize real pc uses, like maybe, oh I don't know, WORK, as well as push them to continually refine & improve their stuff.....
So I believe that's called a "double edged sword" :D
sure, most "enthusiasts" that (more or less) know what they are doing, dont care, but we are the minority in the group of gaming folks, and money is made of the (usually ignorant) masses.
e.g. do you have a pink bike? doubt it, still doesnt mean you gonna say "we dont need any pink bikes" (on this planet).
buying stuff like this is neither being a enthusiast nor a normie that needs to win a imaginary reddit argument about being cooler than the opponent… all of this stuff is just random stupid cosmetic shit with absolutely zero value that hinders innovation because everyone just does nonsense like this instead of making a better product that benefits everyone.
true, but as long as its not cheap (i doubt) it will see limited sales, and hopefully go away soon(er).
And everything I've heard about desk cases is they're really neat.
...until you upgrade.
...or move, because they're stupendously heavy (at least, the Lian Li ones are, which come on FREIGHT PALLETS).
...or you do something that cracks the tempered glass top.
I get the idea of having more bling in the system, but these are still more or less just plain dumb.
There's no real choise when about every single released new case has been for decade "Me Too!" carbon copy of all the worst fads!
We had choise in cases dozen to fifteen years ago.
After that choise was put under the axe and has been cut down smaller year by year.
You can start your reply by pointing to available/recently released case whose style is similar to Lian Li PC-A70B/PC-A7010B.

I didn't see if it was AI designed, hehe I'm sure it looked better in the concept drawing.
