Arctic Reveals Its New P Pro Series Premium Fan Range
The P Pro Series is the result of intensive development work and production optimization and defines the new premium segment in the ARCTIC fan range. The P12 Pro and P14 Pro models offer significantly increased performance with particularly high static pressure and airflow, ideal for use with radiators and in cases. Already proven in the latest generation of Liquid Freezer III, the fans are now also available individually. The P12 Pro, P12 Pro A-RGB and P12 Pro PST (5 Pack) will initially be released, with the other 120 mm and 140 mm versions to follow in the coming weeks.
At the center of the new development: the revised fan blade design. Automated manufacturing with low tolerances enables a minimal gap between the impeller and frame - for maximized static pressure and a significantly increased airflow efficiency. An optimized bearing and extended impeller shaft, in combination with a high-precision balancing process, ensures low-vibration and permanently quiet operation.A new controller-motor combination reduces motor noise and automatically compensates for speed drops in the event of increased resistance. Integrated protection mechanisms limit inrush current peaks and reliably prevent damage caused by reverse polarity. Engineered with passion - this is how the new P Pro Series sets standards. With a striking performance upgrade, the premium fans offer quiet and powerful cooling for demanding applications in different variants.

In other news they also released the 280mm and 420mm Pro variants of LF3:

I understand why igorslab stopped doing it.
up to 10y warranty, and cost is about 1/3-1/2 of others, while decent enough, and any that went bad, were replaced for free..
i primary care about quiet/no sound at low loads, and so far i havent seen any other brand that improves the same amount the cost goes up,
incl Noctuas, which arent 2-3x better.
for ex.
" The predecessor (P12 fan) has been surpassed. That’s probably what many are wondering—whether there’s actually been an improvement. In nearly every respect, the P12 Pro is technically more advanced and achieves higher airflow across different scenarios at a lower noise level. "

in short: never buy 5 packs, higher failure rate.
@ymdhis
doesnt matter, as long as its not caused by user (install/outside normal use), never had to send anything to them, so yeah Noctua can kiss my behind if i have to spend money for shipping stuff back becasue it broke. just looking at roughly 20 fans i got replaced in the past +20y (mine/customers), would amount to at least 50-60$ for return shipping, another "confirmation" why i dont need to care about N anymore (for a while now).
maybe if all their products have the same build quality (unlike redux) and offer 10y warranty on all fans.
depending on what model/where you buy, 4 out of 10 you get a bearing failure within 1-2y.
i havent had any of the replacements fail (came from multi packs) so far, so at least for arctic/amazon.com you should be fine.
@ Arctic Cooling
No love for those of us who like white cases?
lol, because everyone was complaining in the past that they (mainly) had white fans, so they started doing new stuff in black first.
@Nin
only had trouble with P14S and F14 pwm/S.
