Because AMD has screwed up the XP 32-bit update I expect :banghead:

You can try downloading it, but I'm guessing if you wait a few minutes the link will be corrected.

I'm surprised they're still supporting all the way back to the 9500. I wonder how long until I'm gaming on a Legacy device :)

the release notes claim compatibility with hd3k series cards. i guess the whole "hd3k cards won't be supported until 8.1" was a hoax.

To note - The display drivers for 7.12 XP 32-bit appear to be correct.

I can tell you that the XP one is still linking to the old 7.11 driver - I downloaded it to see.

Unfortunately I can't get a link to the 7.12s, so you will have to wait and hope AMD updates it.

Edit: a little off-topic, but look who has the most popular profile on the AMD GAME! Community section:

Strange - it's definitely still making me download the old driver, even if I force a refresh.

Edit: that's because you're only getting the driver. If you get it bundled with CCC, it forces you to get the 7.11s.

I hope my CoD4 stops locking up with the 7.12's. Ever since I got my 3850, CoD4 online will hard lock every now and then. Damn it sucks! IDK if it's my card, my oc' the game, drivers or what, but it sucks. PC has always ran great, but this CoD4 lock up is killing me,

Is there any point me downloading this as I have an old X850XT? Would I see and performance increase or should I just stick with what I've got?

Lol, way to keep on point W1z. Maybe they should hire you for, well shit, I'd imagine you could fill a lot of positions there and do a better job.

You'd think they'd catch things like this...

Ok, I've updated the news story to link to the TPU download server as AMD hasn't updated its download locations correctly.

poor ati. the 7.12's still give errors in crysis with a 3870 :shadedshu
it's not as bad as before, but there are still some anomalies such as disappearing rocket launchers and no red dot in the reflex sight. i rolled back to the crysis hotfix driver and it's all better now.

I had thought ATI were recommending Crysis players to stick with the hotfix until further notice? I had even noticed a major performance hit in Crysis when I had installed CCC 7.11 with my X1950.

I'd like to see some xFire support, for sure

Do me a favor as I just went thro a bout of the crashes myself. Try turning off or lowering the OC , as setting my CPU back to stock has eliminated the issues for me! ( guess I need to reclock in a different manner now)

This might be my last ATI driver installation for a looong time  (should get 8800gt finally start of the next year).

Oh and haven't uninstalled any catalyst 7 version driver the whole year, before a new one and still going strong. (and I've only used the display driver without CCC). Will put this on on top of previous ones as well and it will work too :) (people are too obsessed about uninstalling previous drivers, or I'm just lazy to do it :p)

Does anyone know yet if they've fixed the issue with agp cards such as the x1950 pro or am I best off still sticking with the Omega 7.10s?
