For all the hyperbole, I dont see any difference between these 4850 and 4870 and other manufacturers versions.

well no there really isnt much difference yet, save for maybe clock specs if that. They are just grandstanding the release of the HD 4870 series. Judging from all the fluff, if you cut that stuff out, this thing is a brick house. Integrated HDMI/HDCP support with 7.1channel surround. UVD2 is a big thing, if they successfully succeeded in the shortcomings with cable card support. All in all, for the price, this is one bad ass mother freaking card!
