Anyone else having issues with the RX 480 and a 4K desktop?

Very unhappy with @XFXSupport RMA process. After contacting via the support site and on social media I cannot get an update from these guys regarding a card I saved $260 for. I will buy another card brand next time.

Thank you for letting me know your card arrived today. It will be tested and processed as soon as we can get to it. We've recently moved to a new building so our RMA turn around may be a few days delayed.

For the public record. The response I received via the support (which was SILENT for days) told me I have to wait while they are moving and that the RMA process is delayed. Unreal. Purchase from another board manufacturer. When my motherboard died, ASUS sent me the replacement beforehand.

Benchmark Scores Faster than the tortoise; slower than the hare.
To be fair, this is normal for card RMAs. All OEMs I've encountered test the card before doing anything. A week before shipping out a replacement card is normal.

Another of embarrassing customer service by XFX. Was told I was going to recieve and update today. Not a peep after reaching out on here and social media. No refund offered. $260 card was having issues out of the box and many people report the same failure with 4k content

I'm pushing my RMA department and testing team as hard as i can. Replacements are still being offloaded on pallets. Im hoping to start shipping again thursday.

Trust me, im doing everything i can, the longer things take, the more work i get in the form of requested updates.

XFX are doing what they can considering the circumstances.

I think my warranty is void due to replacing thermal paste with Grizzly which sucks and my amazon return window closed January 31st

What was it that made you suspect bad thermal paste from the factory?

What was it that made you suspect bad thermal paste from the factory?

From my experience OEMs tend to use cheaper thermal material. I saw a 5c reduction when overclocked using Grizzly.
