I think comparison between BD and SB-E is a fail comparison. Compare BD to LGA1155 SB instead. Platform costs between the two are identical, the chips themselves will be priced to be competitive with LGA1155 Core processors.
We aren't comparing SB-E vs BD performance-wise, we are comparing them either as the most likely to fail or be a failure in the future, or which is more of a fail so far...
