What "consequences?" That some people have their panties in a bunch and have decided that acting entitled is the way to go?Just because it is "his website" doesn't mean it should be ran in a way that ignores the consequences that actions can have on members who support and enjoy the site and everything that goes with it. Just because you have the authority to do something any way you wish does not necessarily mean you should and in this case at least it seems the community's opinion on the subject may not have been fully considered or it was rather different than expected.
Edit: grammar
Like Solaris said, those of you truly upset should get together via PM and prepare a thoughtful proposal, and submit to W1zzard for consideration.
At the end of the day though, you have to be prepared for a NO answer. Quite simply, you'll be asking a question and asking for something. If you are asking a question, it means you don't know the answer and are willing to accept whatever the response is.
And owning a website DOES give him the right to decide what content happens here. If a few don't like it, so what? There are always new people joining. It's a prerogative of ownership.
