i like the idea of the tech bench....but i never understood buying one....especially at $90+

Companies want to make sure their new game/software etc... runs on multiple configs, so they buy a few and run them.

Really though for the price you could guy a cheap large case, hack it apart and put in the components you want to make testing as easy as pie.

Thanks for the review, I wanted to see more than an online shop advert for it. I first saw this a couple of days ago and it got my tech juices going. Had I not already recently bought my excellent Coolermaster HAF922 and have no more space for another box, I'd have got this.

EDIT: Looking properly at the review, I don't think I'd get this either.

No water cooling option, no fans to install... meh. I'd rather get the bit more expensive bench table from Dimastech than this obsolete thing. This wouldn't be much of an upgrade from my two-bricks-and-a-piece-of-wood-techbench.

I couldn't agree more MK! I would be hard pressed to give a 20 dollar bill for it! Great review though, and really gave the good, and bad points very well.....................Thanks for the review!!!

well it's nice seeing coolermaster enter a small market? i wouldn't buy that test bench with someone elses money.

This is one tech bench to stay clear of...nice review though....This is like barely a tech bench.

it would have to have something to secure my pci cards to have any chance of me buying it
although that would require using screws or some other kind of latch mechanism which would add to the cost
still the review gets the docs

I'm not a parts freak but ...is it necessary to have this box ?? i mean yuo get no box and it does the job too put your part on antistatic surface and test it. Wanna start?? make a contact between the 2 startup pins on motherboard.

Just make your own collect up a few old cases and angle grinder borrow or rent a mig welder and make your own case and give it nice paint job , at lest this way you can make it the way you want and not the way some one else think it should be .
