did you send me dump from your PC?

Sure... will send it in PM. Not sure which process you need to look at, so I'll be sending several files.

As always, thanks for your great work! Even though I'm not up and running, I see all the people you've helped on this forum. Great work - thanks for all you do.

Hi Friends. about windowed mode it seems to be driver issues not the patch. Solaris17 have no issues with sli enabled at all. We did research and in all case windowed applications works fine. But for now, i will doubt and try to dig deeper. By the way in past there was similar issues with sli enabled. very similar. just google it.

That's great news! Does this mean there is still some hope for me and my Z400 workstation? No intention to be pushy, but I'm considering selling my second GTX 580.

It was crazy year. In this year i got learn make websites. I never think i do this kind of work. I must say this job for not lazy men. A long time ago when i can nothing of that i can now i started my PC adventures with system programming. And i am still system programmer i think. I'm writing 3rd operating system. When morning i go to work, after work i go home and do that work i like. And i would really happy if it's enough to sleep 2 hours. Sometimes wife's offended on me i work a lot. She's think that. But i just want to make she's happy. Also i wanted to make the patch completely before new year to all of you. It's something like present. Sorry if somebody dont have sli works now. I tried as i can. We'll sort out these problems in next year. And i want to wish all of you that you always have enough time to make everything you want. Thanks for your test and Happy New Year!

Anatolymik, first of all, HUGE thank you for all your great and selfless job, I do deeply admire you and yours skills, both as programmer and as a person.

Besides that, and even if this piece of advice may harm my interests in using sli with no problems at all, I humbly advice you to spend more time with your wife and your beloved ones, and to sleep more aswell. Life is amazingly short and may have some ungrateful surprises on the road, so don't missuse your time in things that are not urgent.

I mean, of course I want to have the best sli patch possible, but not at the price of you giving up your personal/private life. We all can wait 1 week/month more to have new improved versions released, no one will die and no one will lose its happyness for that, but may be you and your relatives will instead. We here are talking 'bout "material goods", true life just goes the other way around...

This is just my ubber humble and selfless advice, and just another way of saying...

THANK YOU!!!

Hey, you know we are here for fun, right? I absolutely know how it feels when you get sucked into your work (no matter whether it is the work you are being paid for or something you work on in your free time), but always keep in mind you just have one life which is always too short. If your wife is upset with you, then you should really dedicate more of your time to her. You might not be able to cut down the time you work on your job, but as I said - the SLI patch is just for fun for (almost?) all of us.

We do appreciate your work, your efforts, your time. But please don't ruin your life just for us to have a few more FPS!

That being said I wish you all a very Happy New Year!

i also get a ntoskrnp BSOD from time to time, totally randomly... sometimes its gone for weeks, and and sometimes its there, 3 days in a row... until now i rooted out eventual instabilities i guess, but that BSOD is like a rarely occuring ghost;)
i dont know if the patch is to blame tho, it can be a problem of the board also, even tho i dont know that exactly

im positive this is nvidia anti hack sli code.... after new year maybe new CLEAN driver...

np, nvidia usually know things best !!!

ntoskrnl or ntoskrnpa is the windows kernel, I'm willing to bet something in his system is unstable :p

this system is crunching a few years already, and that, fairly stable.
i can run 50 runs+ on linx, and its still stable, also, a few 100% memtest, and lower settings on everything doesnt changed a thing regarding the BSOD.. it comes and goes at totally undeterminable ways...
this BSOD was introduced to me, just after i started using the hack also, so the possibility is high that it has something to do with it.;)

ok...for the Quad s775 guys vs 1366: 4.2 vs 4ghz . the diff is IMPRESSIVE.... i7 cpu soooo more powerful... black ops, all max, 8xaa..150fps.

s775 was good oc, but i dont look back any more..not a second

to be true, higher resolutions and AA mean lesser stress on the cpu, and more stress on the GPU´s... the difference between a phenom and an i7/core quad is only within 10 fps when you go 1920x1080;)
