Intel 13th Gen Support?

Possible to get a link to 9.5.1. Would like to use throttlestop to undervolt my razer 16 instead of XTU.

All little cores 87, P cores range from 80 to 97. I'm certain it was 80c max on all before just want to confirm with someone
With RMA u never know, talking with expierence as I used to own the previous Titan and after RMA it got worse.

@unclewebb
Just a little update, I don't know what exactly happened.. But with the recent BIOS 308 update the undervolt that I had applied seems to be unstable. It seems like I have to start all over again with testing.. :(

Edit;
I've run some TS benchs and nothing that let it crash, i'm confused..

Many laptops perform worse, sometimes much worse, after a BIOS update. Open the FIVR window. Does it show that Undervolt Protection is enabled now? Are your undervolt settings still showing up in the monitoring table?

It is impossible to know what exactly changed with this recent update. If your computer used to run better with the previous BIOS version then I would install that.

I agree. My Titan with BIOS 108 limited CPU to 120W, after rolling back to 105 it's back to normal 200W+

Undervolt Protection is disabled and i'm still able to see the undervolt that I have applied. I don't know if I could downgrade BIOS, on this laptop?

As test, i've tried to run a different game, Red Dead Redemption 2 for 50mins did some missions with the game and no crashes whatsoever, will try later to play Horizon zero dawn again, but last night that game crashed within 20-30 mins or even less then 10 mins.

Kind of confusing.

You can, go to download page for your laptop and download. If not there modify the link and change the name so it corresponds to previous bios name. Then enable bios flashback in BIOS and you should be good to go.

If you are running your CPU on the edge of stability, you will likely see some random crashes. It is possible that a different BIOS version has slightly changed something. Try increasing your voltage a little.

CPU wattage are the same on both games, but Red Dead Redemption 2 seems to fluctuate between frequency more often compare to Horizon zero dawn. Maybe that's why?

I will try to increase the voltages a little bit.

It is grayed out because ThrottleStop 9.5 does not support 13th Gen CPUs. Check your messages. The beta version should work better.
Hello I'm new here. Currently I'm using 13950hx laptop and I also have greyed e core.
Could you send me a beta version? Thanks!

with new bios, it limited for 120w for cpu when Nvidia gpu is enabled.
So everytime on DIscrete mode, and sometimes with optimus mode.

If you want to get maximum power with new bios switch to Intel only gpu mode

but i am also want maximum power with nvidia, can you please tell how to roll back?

Go to MSI website, see the link for 108 bios and just modify the link to 105 and it will download the old one

Got successful downgrade to 105
Booted one time to windows
And after another start got update bios screen that got me to infinite bootloop

:(

I think it is not issue of 105 bios, but what happens and how to fix have no ideas anymore.
20 seconds of pushing power button not helps

Also would love a link to TS 9.5.1 beta, just got the Legion 7i Pro 13th Gen and want to try undervolting. Thanks!

I still am unable to undervolt on mine after running 9.5.1. I've disabled core isolation and virtualization, and disabled undervolt protection in the BIOS. I can adjust the sliders in ThrottleStop but nothing applies or sticks per HWInfo. Am I missing a step potentially? Thanks in advance.

hello unclewebb
I just bought a ThinkPad E15 Gen 4 (Intel),
Laptop with Intel Core i3-1215U CPU,
I'd love to try ThrottleStop 9.5.1 to reduce the voltage on it.
Is it possible to get a link for TS 9.5.1?
Thanks!

Core i3-1215U
Intel 12th Gen U series CPUs do not support undervolting. No version of ThrottleStop can fix what Intel has deliberately disabled.

@jonathan1130a
Reboot, delete the previous ThrottleStop.INI configuration file, run ThrottleStop and show me a screenshot of the FIVR window. Try something simple like a -50 mV undervolt of the core. Post a screenshot of that too. That might show what is going on. What CPU model do you have? The HX series support undervolting. The regular H series do not.

That did the trick! Thank you! I have the i9 13900HX.

Good to hear. Does HWiNFO report changes to the voltage now? It should. I always use the FIVR monitoring table for real time voltage information. The data in this table is updated once per second. If you make a change to the voltage, it should immediately show up in the FIVR monitoring table. If it does not, that is a problem.

Yes, it is reflected in HWiNFO as well.
