Modded SLI Forceware

W1zzard, you finally hit 5000! woot woot! your thanks is out of this world though! lol.. I'm no mod person for software, so I can't tell what needs to be done or anything else. But from what I've heard, I believe w1z, your right with the needing to bypass

but i cant get the drivers of the ftp site wrong pass or log ;(

cant anyone put them on megashare or rapid please

Hey sol im gonna get a 750i SLi board and another 8800GT later on and I will keep my P35 board as a back up and maybe test some for you if you still havent gotten it by then :) Good luck!!
 
did u try GPU-Z i cant beleave you havent y dont you listen? if that option is their than my modded forceware should have already enabled it

hey solaris17 dont be getting all pissy with me..this computer stuff is new to me my first comp i got 2 years ago..so if you cant handle that then I cant do this anymore

ok do you have the sli bridge etc connected? sorry sinister im just kinda in a bad mood today well just edgy and im trying to make sense of this did you try running a benchmark to see if the frams improved? iv never triued running sli on a board that doesnt support it so im gonna need you guys to try REAL hard to help me make this cause im kinda programming blind....but what im getting at is though their is no enable option and GPU-Z says its still disabled you shouldnt get those SLI options in the CP unless it is...and since its not a true SLI chipset or mobo GPU-Z could detect it wrong...im really REALLY happy it has gotten this far though this measn it is scanning and making a connection now to make the option available.

try this reg entry if the benchmarks dont show any improvement


just DL unzip and double click on it when it asks you if you want to install the reg entry select yes

do the same for tweak 2

in these tweaks i am trying to force compatiability

im done modding the new beta 175.16's im currently uplaoding them

all XP and VIsta versions will be supported

Hey man all is cool...I just got back so I will try the benchmark and see how it scores..And then I will try the other steps you gave me,,,so you are uploading the other beta to try now?..Shouls I try the other beta you are uploading or just try more with the first one I got from you?..Ok talk soon...Steve
 
uninstall the drivers you have and install the new modded betas on my site. the registry entries you should install if needed after the drivers be sure to benchmark again im sorry man my apologies i just dont have alot of ppl ati and intel mobo users dont usually buy 2 nvidia cards and all 3 of my mobos support sli natively so as i said im programming in the dark

Hey dude I uninstalled the other drivers and used driver cleaner...then installed the beta ones and all the steps and still no sli...and the bench score is still the same...sorry to tell you that..But I will keep trying...Steve
 
does the option for sli still appear?
 
Heya Sol. I've been looking reading and researching, is it possible to do away with trying to mod the drivers and take a stab at attempting to emulate hardware? As in the chip that makes a board SLi capable? I mean, I think i am speaking out of my back end but ....

What do you think?
 
idk the easiest way is to make ir modify the reg entries that nvida drivers make so that it supports sli i wouldnt know were to begin modifying a NB or modifing the drivers to detect a good NB

if so do the registry entreis both at the same tim but do reg twek 2 obviously after the first.
 
Sol, what do those reg tweaks do exactly?
 
if the mobo isnt detected as a sli capable one you change the entries or add new ones and force it

or at least thats the theory and what im trying

i found an article on how to enable sli through the reg.....and im trying to make the same idea work for non compatable boards.


seems to be doing ok though i went from drivers that bombed during install to partially working SLI options and GPU-Z detecting it as available
