250W isnt enough, id go for a 500 - 600, 700 if its cheap, but go with a good named brand like antec or arctic cooling.

Heh, if your gonna get the most powerful video card, you better get a really powerful CPU, Mobo and DDR3 setup or your not gonna see the full potential of the video card. The most powerful AM2+ setup is gonna make a 4870x2 or GTX280 laugh.. unfortunately. Go with Intel if you want to maximize whatever next gen card you get.

your right batman, but DDR3 just isnt cost effective yet - true on the issue of the AMD option mind, an intel quad setup seems the only way to go at the minute - cost effective + bloody powerful.

Well actualy I learned that the hard way, I bought a cheap 700 watt psu and it things didn't run properly, You would be best just getting the 6400 and a psu until you can get more.

i was a little concerned ordering mine - EZ-Cool was a brand most people hadnt heard of  but it works fine, never had an issue with it. I just stumbled across it scanning ebuyer and liked the "gamers mesh design with blue LED's" haha.

I had a cheapo £20 EZ-Cool PSU from ebuyer, nice modular design, 650W. Never had a single problem with it, but I pussyed out when I got my 8800gt and got a Corsair HX620W. :D

Heck, why not.

LOL ...

Exactly. In this point in time, doesn't truly matter what you get, anything HD3850/8800GS and above would work out good.

Updates, Thanks guys for the info provided
My athlon x2 6400+ BE will come soon

I'm going to post 3d mark 2006 for my current first before swapping the CPU
AMD Sempron E1100 1.9 overclocked to 2.0
2gb ram
built in geforce 6100

I'm guessing this will give me something around 200-300 points :)
I will keep the CPU in box tell 4870x2 arrives I will test it on the E1100 first then I will post another marks with the 6400+ :)

Not sure if Crysis will work on the built in geforce 6100
for fun - it may end up with 2-3 frames per sec :p

I will keep you updated guys.

I am going to upgrade my E4400 to a Q6600 when i get enough cash.:) I am going to keep my 680i board and my DDR2 OCZ XTC RAM at 800mhz. But i may not upgrade my system(both CPU and GPU) till college, so my parents can't get mad at me for ordering all of the parts.

you wont even get 2-3 fps on crysis haha - i fried my old integrated just before i got my GT trying the crysis demo, it basically shut down and would turn on for a few hours. Massively overheated and lost the will to live xD

:) I will overclock my coming athlone to 3.3-3.4 I don't think my current motherboard can Handel more than that, and I will use my current Thermaltake mini tower water cooling on this :)

2nd-4th of July my new CPU will arrive "International Shipping takes time".
