What other makes of PSUs are quality other than Corsair?

The differences in power transfer are minimal at best. The difference is completely insignificant, the only exception might be if a manufacturer decided to really skimp on connector quality, causing poor connections. I had try also the RMA services of them , the good part , they work.
There is no brand , that has zero failures .

About modular VS Not modular ..

I have to say , that from my HIPER 580R that was modular , in comparison to the New HIPER that its not modular , I would say " No deference " at all , because i use all the cables.

4 HDD
2 DVD
1 VGA
Floppy

So what left free :
1 VGA
1 HDD chain
2 single molex lines .

I hide those , at the top of the PSU .

i have notice a deferent marketing push over products in US and EU .

Can you BLAME HIPER , because the old 580R , never had active PFC in the US model ?

I can NOT , the EU version was ACTIVE .

Can i blame HIPER because the latest "killer line" operates directly from 100-240V ,
and the old 580R EU was operate from 195V to 220V ?

The new is a progress , in a sweat price.

When a model of psu is in an environment it is rated to handle, and it still fails on a regular basis, that is the manufacturer's fault. The only Hiper psus that are even remotely acceptable are Type-R and Type-M, and only if they were 650W or higher. Anything other than those models, and there is something from a different brand that is a better psu, for right around the same price like Enermax, Be Quiet, FSP, OCZ, etc., etc. All much better than ANY Hiper below 650W. And just because you are an electronics engineer, doesn't mean you know who makes a quality psu.

your list will become large .

Its no secret , that all PSU with high Watts , are made by other, quality components.

Corsairs are mostly made of seasonic and channel well. It would probably be easier to just name OEM's instead. I think seasonic makes some PC power and cooling also.

Seasonic gets my vote for the best. Love Enermax too for always being innovative
