X1900gt Unlock Bios Found!!!

I have tried ATI tools, doesn't seem to work.

The autodetect function makes my computer crash.

When I try to raise memory or GPU clock, I get artifacts on the whole screen (lines of color), and if I try several settings it ends up crashing :(
This happens while I'm still very far from what I manage to obtain with ccc

I works really smooth here.. no problems..

can you RMA it

I will.

Have you ever taken a HSF off a video card?

No time. Post pics of naked core and mem later.

hot_fifty, have you tried the 1.4125VGPU bios?

autodetect?

The function that finds automatically the maximum settings for your gpu and mem frequencies.

As the overclocking was not working, I haven't tried to raise the voltage for the gpu...

My x1900GT is a Sapphire.

ATITool_0.25_GT works, but have few problems...

This is defaul configuration shows on overclocker...

...and this is show atitool (litle less voltage... 0,25V):

This is no problem. Problem is: i change into Atitool VGPU to 1.5V...

...and this is show overclocker:

GPU Voltage is 1.525 (this is litle dangerous but not much) and Memory+I/O voltage is only 1.8V... I change voltages on default and try it again... with no problem, but voltage set to 1.475, then it is 1.5V

nope I´m on original bios and atitool for GT:. works like a cham.. really nice... Im on 735/720 right now stable

Remember, Ati2evxx.exe must be killed (or disabled) when you use Atitool

in Atitool it says R580LE.. HMm.. 735/720 is with 1,5 vgpu, load temp is 41 on gpu and 65 on voltage regulator

I'm sure that the R580LE core means the R580"XL" that I was theorizing earlier.

If my card was working, it'd probably say R580 plain.

okay... 749/747 now stable 1,525vgpu still on water

Those are some nice clocks. If only you had 16 pipes...

the voltages atitool shows are different to what overclocker shows because overclocker is wrong :)

you can use a voltmeter and check yourself

I hoped that would be the problem, but...

I have tried to kill Ati2evxx.exe before lauching atitool, still not working : find maxcore makes lines as soon as it starts, screen flickers ; and when I'm trying to up the core and mem settings it crashes as soon as I apply them :ohwell:

No idea what the problem is. If anyone has a clue

Of course I'm using the titool version posted here a few hours ago

[btw, never had to kill this ati process when I was using atitool for my 9700]

what do you mean... Im not using overclocker, just atitool, nice release btw

if I could cool my volt reg better, i could easily oc with 1,575 which is max in atitool, and maybe 800 on core

You're kidding right? Please tell me your using phase cooling...

Do you have CCC installed?
