X800 fuses data for unlocking

mmx I really appreciate your help, thank you.
I reflashed my bios with"POWER COLOR.X800GT_R480_16P.256.SAMSUNG20_0507026.ZIP" is this a good bios for this card?
EDIT: Just ran 3D Mark 2006 and my score dropped from 1518 to 1441 with the POWER COLOR.X800GT_R480_16P.256.SAMSUNG20_0507026 bios.

it is a asus p5wd2 955x board.i have had to up the vcore to 1.31v tho.runs sweet.does not really like this hot weather in the uk at the mo'.36-44c idle,max 53c
i have a arctic cooling freezer 7 pro cooler on it.
i am pretty sure it will do more,i had it to 4.2 by upping the vcore to 1.35,still not much higher vcore.i reckon it'll do 4.5 with more power and water.

And also, anybody know why my distant terrain looks like absolute CRAP in Battlefield 2, even though I have full anisotropic filtering options?

I use ATi Tray Tools, please reply to my ATi Tray Tools thread if you have the answer
 
i dont think its crap,it certainly beats my last chip(a64 3000+@2.4ghz).i have had less probs with this then the amd,and it was cheaper than the lowest amd x2 3800+,and out performs it at 4gig.at the mo' amd mite be the best,but not for long when core2 comes out.and the jump from 939 ddr to 940 ddr2 has done nothing for amd.

not many can beat 8400mb/s on the sandra mem test,and the cache and mem bandwidth is good,games like lots of mem bandwidth.
with a differant board your 920 should do roughly the same as mine,wots the lvl 2 cache on that?.mine is 2x2mb
incidently,i'am using ati tray tools.
 
i think you need the asus p5wd2 premium.if its a new revision it may support core 2 duo.if i'd had more money this would'a been the one i got.mine is a 955x chipset,the premium is 975x.i dont know what country you're in,but in the uk this board is about £150.
 
Is there a thread that shows where the pipes are and tells you how to unlock any that may have been cut?

That is the thread that "tells you how to unlock any that may have been cut?". But you can read and interpretate the fuse values :) .
 
Got my Sapphaire Radeon X800GTO on Friday.
It has problems. I get red, green, and blue dots all over my display when it boots into Windows. I've tried updating every driver for my motherboard and it didn't help. I even took it to work today and tried it on a PC there and I got the same thing. I also tried the latest Catalyst and even earlier versions, but that didn't help.
I called ATI and they think I have a bad memory module.
Newegg has issued my RMA and I'm going to get it replaced.

On a high note, I went ahead and tried unlocking the pipes just to see what would happen and I was able to get all 16 pipes. I pulled the heatsink and I have the 430 chip. Too bad something is wrong with the card. Hope I can unlock the one they send to replace it...
 
were'd you get the 850 from m8.which board are you going for?.it mite be worth waiting a while till the conroe compatible boards appear.
 
Well, I got the X850XT from ebay. BARGAIN! And nothing wrong with it so far. Idle temps never below 39*C with stock cooler @ 100% though. But I'm buying a new Arctic Cooling fan for it anyway. And, about the new motherboard, I'll have to wait a while for some money. :( I guess maybe I might be able to get one at christmas. I'm planning to buy another GB of ram as well, before the new board, to see If i can improve my FPS in games enough to be happy with. AND PLEASE, SOMEBODY REPLY TO MY ATi Tray Tools Settings THREAD!! PLEASE!!

These are my fuses

I know that i have the r423 core but i am mystified by the fact that i can oc from 475/450 stock clocks to 560/650 staedy clocks

I am also geting a 3D Marks of 1058 on 3D mark06

so please advise me!

Because I have an AGP mobo and don't want to build a whole new system just yet. I paid $100 US for the card.

12 pipes is the max. for you. Overclock it to the max. and enjoy it ;) .

See your fuse picture and compare it with the others and you will understand. Regardless of that (not full lenght) you can't change the number of the pipes.

You have to connect the right bridge on your R423 using conductive compaund (paint, lacquer, glue). First you have to clear rhe contact dots with something sharp and to remove the isolation (they are covered with lacquer). Don't fill the laser cut with conductive material. Connect making a conductive trace around the laser cut. After successfull connection the last digit of your CONFIG_SUBSTRATE_FUSES=0xFFFFF61D will be changed to 0xFFFFF61F. Only then you can have 12 pipes.
