my old alienware hybride cooled, so watercooling is detaceble. After installing my new GTX 970m and a 920xm both overclocked (at max they can) heat became a problem as i gamed longer than 2 hours, so i needed better cooling. I made some motherboard waterblocks on my original CPU and GPU coolers and made sure they where in good contact with the heatpipes so the water would cool enough. I made it with quickrelease waterconnectors so i could disconect them when ever i would take my laptop with me. It gets a little hotter when on air but stil can game and wortk on it. Temps on Air about 75 degrees Celsius (load) temps on water 35 degrees celsius (load)
