Ocypus today proudly announced the launch of the Gamma C60 Series, include Gamma C60 & Gamma C60 ARGB, the latest addition to its PC case lineup. Building on the brand's signature minimalist design language, Gamma C60 combines elevated aesthetics, advanced cooling architecture, and uncompromising compatibility, tailored for a wide range of PC builders.

Continuing the iconic circular matrix design elements, the Gamma C60's front panel is forged from high-strength steel with precision mesh, enhanced by a metallic floating visual effect. The clean, geometric lines embody a minimalist aesthetic while enabling effective airflow, delivering both form and function in perfect balance.

The TechPowerUp crew had trouble keeping up with the plethora of new "panoramic view" P-series cases being exhibited at Zalman's Computex booth. Starting with mid-range products; the South Korean brand has prepared various (up to microATX format) P30 and P30 DS2 color options. The latter is equipped with a fancy two-piece detachable glass section, and an integrated 9.1" LCD panel (4:1 ratio). The P30 family was designed with air flow and maximized ventilation in mind—paired with a minimal aesthetic. The P30 DS2 is bundled with three 120 mm ARGB fans, while its plain sibling is appropriately equipped with three non-ARGB units. Both can support up to 360 mm top-mounted AIOs.

Zalman has debuted its ZM-DF120 fan series at Computex 2025; with an emphasis on reducing cable clutter and easy installation. This is enabled by a magnetic mounting system and per-unit pogo pin interfaces. Similar designs have emerged from rival companies in the recent-ish past; eventually leading to ugly legal battles. The South Korean manufacturer is (bravely) stepping into this arena with its heavily ARGB-lit ZM-DF120 120 mm PWM fan options; showcased in black and white finishes. Side infinity mirror panels are hyped as providing dazzling visual effects. According to specification placards, fan speed range is 600-2000RPM (±10%). Maximum noise level is 34.5 dB (±10%), and max. air flow is 70.05 CFM (±10%). Zalman did not list any static pressure data. As expected, their ZM-DF120 fans leverage a hydro bearing platform.

HYTE's brand-new X50 cases series was revealed at Computex 2025; with variants divided into premium (glass) and "Air" (mesh) lines. According to preview material, (respective) guide price points are $150 and $120—subject to regional VAT, and the effects of changing tariff conditions. The more expensive options feature very colorful designs, along with 4 mm thick "laminated acoustic glass"—the brand has dubbed these as: "Cherry" (red), "Matcha Milk" (green), "Pitch Black," "Strawberry Milk" (pink), and "Taro Milk" (purple), and "Snow White." The cheaper X50 Air SKUs are only available in black or white finishes. Color-matching 120 mm Flow FA12 fans were also on display at HYTE's booth; rated up to 1500 rpm.

Seasonic has introduced its new MAXFlow 120 mm cooling fan series with a thickness of 30 mm. It features a reinforced frame with noise-dampening corner pads while the reverse fan design with arc-shaped blades improves the airflow. Seasonic newest MAXFlow fan measures 120 mm x 120 mm x 30 mm and runs on DC power between 9.5 V and 13.8 V with a maximum speed of 3300 RPM. The fan use high-quality Japanese NMB ball bearings with a lifespan of up to 70,000 hours.

Performance specifications include impressive airflow of 154.85 CFM and static pressure of 8.5 mm-H₂O, though noise levels reach 46.60 dB(A) at maximum speed. For convenience, a three-speed selector switch allows users to choose between quiet operation (up to 1000 RPM), balanced performance (up to 2000 RPM), or maximum cooling capacity (up to 3300 RPM). Seasonic MAXFlow 120 mm is available in white and black versions, as a single pack or triple set (this kit includes an additional 3-to-1 PWM extension cable for motherboard connection) and is backed by a 5-year warranty. Exact pricing and availability are not known at this moment, however, Seasonic is mentioning "affordable price" on product presentation pages.

Thermaltake expands the entry-level range of CPU air coolers with the new UX400 series, which includes three models: ARGB Sync White, ARGB Sync Black, and matte black. Using a single-tower design, they measure 125 mm × 92 mm × 152 mm and are equipped with four Ø6 mm U-shaped copper direct-contact heat pipes. The Thermaltake UX400 series sports a 120 mm fan with PWM speeds of 700-1800 RPM, providing an airflow of 62.72 CFM, a static pressure of 1.47 mm-H2O, and a noise level of 25.0 dBA. The fan of the UX400 ARGB Sync features 9 addressable LEDs that can be customized via 5 V motherboard sync software from ASUS, MSI, GIGABYTE, BIOSTAR, and ASRock.

With a cooling capacity of 240 W TDP, the UX400 comes with universal brackets for Intel and AMD CPUs, including the latest LGA1851 and AM5 CPU sockets. It looks very similar to the UX200 SE series launched in 2023, with the main differences being in the heatpipes areas (for better clearance) and the updated 120 mm fan. Regarding price, the Thermaltake UX400 ARGB Sync (Black, CL-P142-AL12SW-A / White, CL-P143-AL12SW-A) are listed on the Thermaltake's Taiwan website for NT$790.00 (approximately $24), and the UX400 (Matte Black, CL-P149-AL12BL-A) for NT$690.00 (roughly $21).

Sharkoon launched its first three air-cooled CPU coolers: the A40, A50, and A60. All three are tower-style (A40 and A50 are single tower, A60 uses a dual tower design) and are available in three versions: matte black, black RGB, and white RGB. The A40, A50, and A60 use four, five, and six 6 mm diameter heat pipes in direct contact with the CPU. The overall dimensions of the A40 and A50 are the same at 120×72×153 (mm), while the A60, being a dual-fan dual-tower, measures 120×125×156 (mm). The nominal TDPs (Thermal Design Power) are 220 W (A40), 230 W (A50), and 260 W (A60). Another aesthetic difference between the matte black version and the RGB ones is that the latter include "the infinity mirror effect" for the top cooler cover.

The first three air-cooled models of Sharkoon's A series CPU coolers use the same 120 mm fluid dynamic bearing fans with 9 blades working at 500-1,800 rpm, offering 121.55 m³/h maximum airflow, 2.90 mm H₂O max. air pressure, and 30 dB (A) maximum noise level. The RGB fan versions include 12 Addressable RGB LEDs; however, only one fan offers RGB lighting in dual fan configurations (Sharkoon A60 RGB Black/White).

Cooler Master (CM) showcased custom GeForce RTX 50-series graphics card designs at CES 2025, but advertised these compelling parts as included in high-end pre-built gaming rigs. Months later, finalized CM GeForce RTX 5080 stock has just rolled out in China—as demonstrated by 51972's blog post on Bilibili. A generous selection of uploaded photos were accompanied by the content creator's observations when tinkering with his sample unit's modular air cooling solution: "someone commented on the post this morning and suggested replacing it with a MasterFan or Mobius. I tried it too. I thought it could only support 12025 (slim) fans. When I disassembled it, I found that Cooler Master's designers/engineers had reserved screw limit holes at different heights."

Their description continued as follows: "I tried it and found that the (Phanteks) T30 could really be installed, but the thickness of the whole card reached a terrifying 9 cm. Outrageous." Cooler Master's innovative enclosure—when configured with the thickest third-party options—manages to "outgrow" nearby competition. 51972 compared CM's plucky new entrant to an ASUS ROG Astral RTX 5080 card; a very familiar premium-tier quad-slotter—albeit with a relatively "svelte" 7.6 cm profile. MSI's upper crust GeForce RTX 5080 SUPRIM cards arrived earlier this year, sporting the same shroud height dimension as equivalent Astral SKUs.

ENERMAX has silently launched the ETS-T41 tower CPU cooler series composed of 3 slightly distinct versions: ETS-T41 Digital ARGB, ETS-T41 Digital and ETS-T41. All 3 CPU coolers have the same base specifications with the main differences in the cooling fans, the exterior coating and the additional digital display panel. Measuring 157 mm in height, they feature four Ø6 mm copper direct contact heat pipes, two 120 mm fans and an aluminium fins radiator capable of achieving up to 250 W TDP.

As mentioned, one of the features that differentiate the 3 versions is the fans. The Digital ARGB and Digital versions use Fluid Dynamic Bearing (FDB) fans, while the basic model uses Hydro Dynamic Bearing (HDB) fans. Moreover, the two 120 mm fans have slightly different characteristics in the "Digital" versions: one has 600-1600 RPM speed with up to 69.63 CFM and a maximum noise of 25 dB(A), while the second fan has a speed of 600-1400 RPM with up to 56.53 CFM and 23.5 dBA (Max). We dedicated a lot of our launch presentation of Framework Desktop to the Ryzen AI Max processor it uses, and for a good reason. These truly unique, ultra-high-performance parts are the culmination of decades of technology and architecture investments that AMD has made, going all the way back to their acquisition of ATI in 2006. What makes Ryzen AI Max special is a combination of three elements: full desktop-class Zen 5 CPU cores, a massive 40-CU Radeon RDNA 3.5 GPU, and a giant 256-bit LPDDR5x memory bus to feed the two, supporting up to 128 GB of memory. We'll start with the CPUs. Ryzen AI Max supports up to 16 CPU cores split across two 4 nm FinFET dies that AMD calls CCDs. These dies are connected together using an extremely wide, low power, low latency bus across the package substrate. The CPUs are full Zen 5 cores with 512-bit FPUs and support for AVX-512, a vector processing instruction set otherwise only available on Intel's top end server CPUs. The comprehensive roadmap revision, with the next-generation dual-tower CPU cooler notably absent from the 2025 lineup, suggests a potential 2026 release window. The chromax.black version of the NF-A14x25 G2 fan has been rescheduled from Q1 to Q3, and the chromax.The black variant of the next-gen 120 mm fan is now slated for Q4, which represents a significant delay from its initial Q1 target. Now, just a few months away, the Computex 2025 looks like one of the most enjoyable shows ever, with the TechPowerUp crew roaming halls looking for interesting products.

The new ASUS ROG Astral GeForce RTX 5090 and RTX 5080 designs have attracted a lot of attention, due to an unusual cooling configuration that includes a backplate-mounted fourth fan. At CES 2025, MSI teased onlookers with a placard adorned with a GeForce RTX 32G "Lightning" Special Edition model—featuring a "FiveFrozr" cooling solution. A traditional triple-fan setup is placed in the expected shroud location, but two additional units are integrated into the card's backplate. According to recent reports and early reviews, GIGABYTE has deployed a somewhat related system, albeit entirely optional (depending on user discretion). The Taiwanese manufacturer sent its AORUS RTX 5090 and 5080 MASTER models to market last week. These premium card designs feature the company's new "Screen Cooling Plus" system. CES press material claims that the "extra air-boosting fan" grants more airflow.

GIGABYTE's fourth fan has flown under the radar, but major hardware news outlets have just picked up on initial impressions. Singapore's HardwareZone appreciated the inclusion of an optional extra—with their AORUS RTX 5080 MASTER sample—but criticized GIGABYTE's slightly undercooked implementation. Their reviewer did not evaluate whether the modular part made any difference in terms of reducing temperatures—instead, they opined: "to further improve cooling, the card also comes bundled with a separate 120 mm RGB fan that you can place on the back of the card to pull air out—a design reminiscent of the ROG Astral RTX 5080's built-in cooling solution. It's a practical touch but not an elegant one, as it means having to deal with additional cables to tidy up since—oddly enough—the card itself does not come with a power connector for the extra fan." GLITCHED.online, a South African tech site, took GIGABYTE's AORUS RTX 5080 MASTER ICE card for a test drive—they found that the extra bit of cooling potential made a difference, but it was "almost unnoticeable." We hope that GIGABYTE will send review samples to TPU's W1zzard in the near future. Will the fourth fan make any difference on the AORUS RTX 5090 MASTER model?

LIAN LI Industrial Co. Ltd., a leading manufacturer of chassis and PC accessories, will premiere the LIAN LI 2025 DIGITAL EXPO at 9am EST on February 7th, on YouTube. This two-part video series reveals updates to prototype and upcoming products, including cases, AIO liquid coolers, fans, power supplies, and more. Featured products are the LANCOOL 217, LANCOOL 207 Digital, LANCOOL 4, and the O11D MINI V2 cases. Additional innovations include the RS Series rotatable PSU, universal screen and mount, Hydroshift II LCD-C 360R AIO, UNI FANS, and a new vertical GPU bracket.

The LANCOOL 217 showcases real wood accents and comes with five pre-installed fans. This includes two 170 mm front fans that are tool-less height-adjustable, two 120 mm GPU cooling fans with reversed blades positioned over the PSU shroud, and a 140 mm fan located at the back. Its dual PSU mounting options provide added flexibility for cable management. The case is offered in two variations: black with dark wood accents and white with light wood accents. Prices begin at $119.99.

Bitspower is known more for its DIY liquid cooling gear for the PC enthusiast, and workstation market segments, but is looking to broaden its reach. At the 2025 International CES, the company showed off its first all-in-one liquid CPU coolers—or at least their boxes. The Bitspower Atlas series of AIO CLCs come in 240 mm and 360 mm size variants, with black and white color variants. The pump-block has a cubical shape with coolant fittings coming from the side, and an infinity reflection ornament on top. The coolers include two or three of Bitspower's Griffin series 120 mm ARGB fans. The cooler uses a copper cold-plate and an aluminium radiator to stay in the market segment.

Each of the Griffin 120 mm ARGB fans included with the Atlas series AIOs turns at speeds of up to 2,200 RPM, pushing up to 83.83 CFM of airflow, at 2.77 mm H₂O static pressure, and around 38 dBA of noise. The company didn't mention bearing type. These fans can also be had in packs of 3. Bitspower also showed off its liquid cooling loop for 2P workstations or servers, as well as its premium AIOs built around its 2U radiators and 60 mm industrial fans. Lastly, there was an assortment of Concept X and Summit series CPU water blocks. We've seen many of these blocks at last year's CES and Computex, so nothing new to report here.

Corsair at the 2025 CES showed off its latest power supply units. At CES, the company is debuting its 2025 RMe line of performance-segment PSUs. These meet the latest ATX 3.1 and PCIe 5.1 CEM standards, and offer Cybenetics Gold rated switching efficiency, along with Cybenetics A acoustic rating. The PSU uses a 120 mm fan, along with a zero RPM mode for most low-load situations. The 2025 RMe series comes in four variants based on wattage, the RM650e, RM750e, RM850e, and RM1000e. The 750 W, 850 W, and 1000 W models put out a 12V2x6 that's capable of 600 W continuous power delivery, while the 650 W model puts out a 450 W capable 12V2x6.

Next up, are updates to Corsair's enthusiast-segment HXi series. The new 2025 HXi series comes in two high-wattage models, the HX1200i, and the HX1500i. The HXi series in its 2025 refresh is updated with ATX 3.1 and PCIe 5.1 CEM compliance. These offer Cybenetics Platinum switching efficiency, and Cybenetics A acoustic rating. The 140 mm fan cooling these are programmed with a zero RPM mode. You can take control of its fan curve by connecting the PSU to a USB 2.0 header and using the Corsair iCUE software. Both the 1200 W and 1500 W models offer two 12V2x6 connectors, both of which are 600 W capable. The 2025 RMe series is available now, but the 2025 HXi series should be available some time in Q2 2025.
