AOC's Portable 16-inch USB Monitor Now $99 For a Limited Time in the US

AOC Announces the d2357Ph 3D Monitor

AOC Europe has today introduced the d2357Ph, a 23-inch slim (5.8 mm) monitor with a TN panel, WLED backlighting, and 3D capabilities (it uses passive 3D technology). AOC's new display has a native resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels, a 2 ms response time, a contrast ratio of 1,000:1 (20,000,000:1 dynamic contrast ratio), 170/160 degree viewing angles, a hotkey for easy 2D to 3D conversion, plus one D-Sub and two HDMI 1.4 connectors.

The d2357Ph is set to become available in April priced at 239 Euro.

AOC Unveils 27-inch High Definition LED Monitor with 2 ms Response Time

AOC, the worldwide leader in monitor display technology, announces the e2752Vh, a widescreen 27-inch LED monitor that delivers stunningly crisp and impressive image quality, as well as solid performance with a two millisecond response time. Ideal for multimedia applications, the energy efficient display also features two built-in 2.5 watt speakers for SRS-quality sound and is perfectly suited for PC gaming and Home Theater environments. The e2752Vh will be available for $299.99 in April at national retailers including TigerDirect, Best Buy, Newegg and Amazon, among others.

AOC e2352Phz 3D Monitor Launched in North America

Introduced last summer in Europe, AOC's e2352Phz monitor is now making its way to the North American market to offer customers there a reasonably affordable 'flicker free' 3D experience. AOC's 3D display has a 23-inch LED-backlit panel, a native resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels, a 2 ms response time, a dynamic contrast ratio of 20,000,000:1, two 2W speakers, plus D-Sub, DVI and HDMI 1.4a connectivity.

The e2352Phz is bundled with two pairs of passive polarized 3D glasses (one regular pair and one that attaches to prescription glasses) and has a recommended price tag of $299.

AOC Debuts the Aire Monitor with Docking Station

AOC, the worldwide leader in HD television and monitor display technology, announces the Aire Monitor with Docking Station, the ultimate monitor for iPod and iPhone owners. The 23-inch Full High Definition monitor features a built-in universal docking station for iPhone and iPod that allows immediate video, audio and photo playback from the mobile device through AOC's patented plug-and-play technology.

Along with the integrated dock, the base of the monitor also includes built-in speakers with high quality SRS Premium Sound. The 23-inch AOC Aire Monitor with Docking Station (e2343Fi) will be available for $279.99 at national retailers in March 2012. The e2343Fi will also be showcased at the Bellagio, Monet 3 Ballroom, at the International CES 2012, January 10-13, 2012.

AOC Develops a 22-inch USB-powered Monitor

Having already released a 15.6-inch display (the e1649Fwu) that gets both signal and power via USB, AOC is upping the ante this year and at CES 2012 it will showcase a bigger USB monitor. Named e2251Fwu, the display in question is just 10.6 mm thin and features a 22-inch Full HD (1920 x 1080) panel, an LED backlight, a 5 ms response time, a dynamic contrast ratio of 20,000,000:1, a maximum brightness of 250 cd/m2, a removable stand, and, of course, USB connectivity.

The e2251Fwu will ship in February and will cost $199.

AOC to Show Off 23-inch Monitor with Built-In iPhone/iPod dock at CES 2012

Next month at CES 2012 in Las Vegas (January 10-13) monitor maker AOC is promising to showcase a widescreen display which includes a built-in iPhone/iPod touch dock. This extra allows people to view videos or photos taken with their Apple-flavored handheld on the monitor's 23-inch Full HD (1920 x 1080) panel, or to listen to the music on the device via the monitor's SRS Premium Sound speakers.

Beside this slim, sleek, and dock-enhanced monitor (called e2343Fi), AOC will show off at CES a new USB-powered display, and a fresh, passive 3D display.

AOC Intros Two New Monitors for Small Businesses

AOC unveiled two new monitors for small businesses, the 22-inch e2219Ph, and 24-inch e2436Pa. The two feature WLED-backlit LCD panels, with 20,000,000:1 DCR, 1000:1 static contrast ratio, 5 ms response time, and power consumption of around 30W. While the e2219Ph features 1680x1050 pixel resolution, the e2436Pa ups it to 1920x1080. Both take inputs from DVI and D-Sub, the e2436Pa includes HDMI as well. Slated for mid-November, the e2219Ph and e2436Pa are priced at €169 and €189, respectively.

AOC USB-Powered 16-inch Monitor Heads for October Launch

First spotted at this year's CEA LineShow event in New York, this June, AOC's E1649FWU portable, USB-powered 16-inch monitor is heading towards an October launch. It is set to cost US $139. Roughly the size of a 15.6" laptop screen, E1649FWU is extremely portable. It comes with its own retractable stand that can let you place it in both portrait and landscape modes.

The E1649FWU takes one USB 2.0 input, through which it draws both its power, and signal. The monitor has its own USB display adapter built-in, to handle that. Illumination is care of an LED array. Vital stats include 1366 x 768 pixels native resolution, 5 ms response time, 50,000,000:1 DCR, and up to 250 cd/m² brightness. It is not HDCP-compliant.

AOC Intros Two New Full-HD IPS Monitors

AOC released two new monitors brandishing LED-backlit IPS (in-plane switching) panels, both with full-HD (1920 x 1080 pixels) resolution. These include the 21.5-inch i2252Vwh and the 23-inch i2352Vh. The two feature static contrast ratios of 1,000:1, 20 million to 1 DCR, and maximum brightness of 250 cd/m². Both pack display inputs of DVI, D-Sub, and HDMI. AOC did not give out pricing.

AOC Announces USB-Powered Full-HD Monitor

Display major AOC announced the USB-powered e2251wu monitor. This 21.5-inch monitor consumes so little power, that it draws it from a USB port. Even with so little resources, the monitor has a formidable specs sheet: 1920 x 1080 pixels native resolution, 1000:1 static contrast ratio, 200 cd/m² brightness, and 5 ms response time. The monitor can either by attached to its base, or incline on its arm. AOC is expected to release the e2251wu to the market in August.

AOC Announces e2795Vh 27-inch MVA Panel LED Monitor

With the e2795Vh model display specialist AOC presents a large-screen monitor in a timelessly classic design that is equally suitable for action-packed entertainment and the office. The slim widescreen monitor with a response time of 5 ms, a resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels (Full HD) and a screen diagonal of nearly 70 cm (27") is also perfect for fast-paced games and movies.

AOC Announces the Ultra-Slim Aire Black LED Monitor

AOC, the world's largest manufacturer of LCD/LED Monitors and HDTVs, reveals the Aire Black LED, a glossy piano-black monitor featuring one of the world's slimmest display panels. This new all-black addition to the popular AireLED Series offers bonus features like embedded Screen+ software that allows the user to divide the screen into four self-contained work areas. The Aire Black LED monitor comes in 20-inch (e2043Fk, $129), 22-inch (e2243Fwk, $149) and 23-inch (e2343Fk, $179) screen sizes, and is now available at national retailers including Best Buy, Radio Shack, Office Max, Fry's, TigerDirect/CompUSA and PC Richards, among others.

AOC Europe Introduces New WLED-lit Full-HD Monitors

AOC Europe added two new full-HD (1920 x 1080) monitors to its lineup, the WLED backlit e2240Vwa (21.5") and e2440Vwa (24"). The displays sport a transparent bordering on the bezel, and feature nature-inspired motifs on the stand and back. Since there's no CCFL, the heat output is lower, and so lower number of vents. The power consumption is also lower, nearly half that of CCFL-illuminated flat-panels of the same size. Apart from its resolution, the panels feature 20,000,000:1 dynamic contrast ratio, 250 cd/m² brightness, 5 ms response time, and display connectors that include DVI and D-Sub. Prices are yet to be announced.

AOC Readies 10 New Widescreen Displays

AOC Display looks to cash in on the back-to-school shopping season, the company has lined up no less than 10 new widescreen LCD display models for release. This includes displays sized at 18.5-inch, 19-inch, 21.5-inch, 22-inch and 23-inch, with resolutions ranging from 1366 x 760 to 1920 x 1080. Of these, four models use LED backlit for illumination, rest use the more common CCFL. The contrast ratios (dynamic) for these are 60,000:1 for the CCFL-lit ones, and 20,00,000:1 for the LED-lit. Response time values are either 2 ms or 5 ms, and connectivity includes D-Sub and DVI. Some models have special features such as stereo speakers and USB hubs. AOC did not reveal the exact model names or prices yet.

AOC Announces iF23 LCD Monitor

AOC Launches 2436Vw Full-HD Monitor in North America

Displays specialist AOC today released the 2436Vw full-HD, 23.6 inch monitor to the North American markets. With a native resolution of 1920x1080 pixels, the 2436Vw intends to deliver its goods at a low price point.

The panel has a response time of 5 ms, and a dynamic contrast ratio of 30,000:1. It has a maximum brightness of 300 cd/m2. On the connectivity front, it features D-Sub and DVI. Boasting of a EPEAT Gold rating, and backed by a three-year warranty, the 2436Vw sells for US $214.
