SilverStone to Release the Kublai KL04 Mid-Tower PC Chassis

For next week SilverStone has planned the retail arrival of its newest Kublai Series PC case, a mid-tower called KL04 which features a steel body and is able to house four 5.25" drives, as well as nine 3.5" and up to six 2.5" drives (just like the Temjin TJ04-E launched last week).

SilverStone's chassis measures 214 (W) x 489 (H) x 499 (D) mm, it weights 8.2 kg, and has a black paint job both inside and out, a front I/O panel with USB 3.0 (x 2), MIC and Audio ports, eight PCI slots, tool-free mounting on the 5.25" bays, and three built-in 120 mm fans, one on the right side, one on top and one at the rear (all three work at 1200 RPM and have a sound output of 21 dBA).

The Kublai KL04 will start selling on January 24th for 82.90 Euro (without VAT). A window-equipped version of the KL04 is also coming up.

SilverStone Debuts the TJ04-E Mid-Tower Case

Taking advantage of CES 2012, SilverStone has this week announced the successor of the 2004-released Temjin series TJ04 PC case. Known as the TJ04-E (E is for Evolution), the new chassis has an exterior that resembles the TJ04, but comes with a 'vastly' improved interior that can hold up to four 5.25-inch drives, nine 3.5-ich hard drives, six SSDs, and graphics cards up to 17 inches long.

The TJ04-E measures 214 (W) x 489 (H) x 489 (D) mm, it weights 9.6 kg, and features a steel structure, an aluminum front panel, ATX and micro ATX motherboard support, tool-free mounting for 5.25-inch drives, a custom HDD cage with built-in heatsinks and SATA cables, an I/O panel with two USB 3.0 ports, three pre-installed 120 mm fans (one on top, one on the right panel, one at the rear), and, optionally, a side window.

SilverStone's PC case is up for pre-order at 129 Euro and is expected to hit stores later this month.
