The heatsink's base is very flat and shiny. It has a few very minor milling marks and scratches.


Given this flat base it is possible that you pull the CPU out of the socket when removing the heatsink, even with the lever down. To avoid this, gently rotate the heatsink while pulling upwards.

A closer look


The first you will notice when looking at the heatsink is the sheer number of fins. Six heatpipes have been installed to keep your CPU temperature down.
