The Radeon RX 5300M is a mobile graphics chip by AMD, launched on November 13th, 2019. Built on the 7 nm process, and based on the Navi 14 graphics processor, in its Navi 14 XLM variant, the chip supports DirectX 12. This ensures that all modern games will run on Radeon RX 5300M. The Navi 14 graphics processor is an average sized chip with a die area of 158 mm² and 6,400 million transistors. It features 1408 shading units, 88 texture mapping units, and 32 ROPs. AMD has paired 3,072 MB GDDR6 memory with the Radeon RX 5300M, which are connected using a 96-bit memory interface. The GPU is operating at a frequency of 1000 MHz, which can be boosted up to 1445 MHz, memory is running at 1750 MHz (14 Gbps effective).
Its power draw is rated at 85 W maximum. This device has no display connectivity, as it is not designed to have monitors connected to it. Rather it is intended for use in laptop/notebooks and will use the output of the host mobile device. Radeon RX 5300M is connected to the rest of the system using a PCI-Express 4.0 x8 interface.
