Toshiba launched two new ultra-slim notebooks based on Intel's latest CULV processors, the 11.6-inch Satellite T210 and 13.3-inch Satellite T230. The T230 is driven by an Intel i3 ULV 330UM dual-core processor, up to 4 GB of DDR3 800 MHz memory, 500 GB HDD with motion sensor (parks the drive if it senses a fall), 3x USB 2.0 ports, USB+eSATA combo port, 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 2.1 EDR, VGA webcam, and multi-card reader. It measures 322 x 223 x 17.6/33.6 mm, weighing a little over 1.75 kg. The battery runs for 8.5 hours on a full charge. This model is available with a "Precious Black" finish. Ahh crap i see.... :toast:
That is if you were to game on it, which I highly doubt anyone buying one of these would do (beyond flash). It's perfectly capable of playing HD (is that an HDMI out I see?) and even bitstream HD audio (no Blu-ray player, though).

Aero and all that 2D jazz would run just fine and that's what it's mainly supposed to do. Do they *still* lag behind AMD and nVidia? Yeah, no doubt, but this is [still] sufficient for most users.
